The Leblanc 1756S France Basset Clarinet possesses the mechanical facility and richness of the A clarinet but with an extended range to low C providing fuller, richer tone for notes in this normally weaker register. Believed to have been the object of Mozart's fancy when writing the K622 Concerto, the basset clarinet is an integral instrument for the soloist or chamber musician specializing in classical works. It is made of grenadilla wood with silver-plated keys, and conical padded cups. it comes with a case and care products.
