Gretsch Guitars Streamliner CVT Electric Guitar - Olive Drab

Description
Inspired by one of Gretsch's most distinctive solidbody designs, the Streamliner CVT electric guitar delivers high-output performance, comfortable playability and straightforward controls in a lean, riff-ready package. Its double-cutaway mahogany body and bolt-on mahogany neck provide a balanced foundation for everything from aggressive rhythm work to soaring leads, while dual HotWire high-output ceramic humbuckers supply the punch and sustain modern players demand. A compensated wraparound bridge, Graph Tech NuBone nut and die-cast sealed tuners round out a design focused on reliability and ease of use, making the Streamliner CVT a versatile solidbody for rehearsal, recording and stage performance.
Corvette-Inspired Mahogany Solidbody Design
The CVT body shape draws inspiration from Gretsch's classic Corvette design, pairing a sleek double-cutaway profile with the warmth and midrange character of mahogany construction. A gloss finish, black pickguard, chrome hardware and black pickup covers reinforce the guitar's clean, purposeful aesthetic while maintaining the distinctive visual identity that has long set Gretsch solidbodies apart. Comfortable against the body and easy to navigate across the fretboard, the Streamliner CVT is built for players who prefer direct access to every fret without unnecessary distractions.
HotWire Humbuckers With High-Output Bite
Equipped with a pair of HotWire high-output ceramic humbuckers, the Streamliner CVT delivers a powerful HH voice suited for modern rock, hard-driving rhythm work and articulate lead tones. A 3-way toggle switch provides bridge, combined and neck pickup selections, while master volume and master tone controls keep sound shaping intuitive. The result is a flexible tonal platform that can move from thick, punchy chords to focused single-note lines without requiring a complex control layout.
Fast C Neck for Comfortable Playability
The bolt-on mahogany neck features Gretsch's Fast C profile, offering a comfortable grip for both chord-based playing and faster lead passages. A bound Indian laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays provides a familiar feel across the neck, while the 24.88" scale length and 1.6875" nut width contribute to a responsive playing experience. A dual-action truss rod allows for straightforward setup adjustments when needed.
Reliable Hardware for Everyday Performance
A compensated anchored wraparound bridge promotes stable intonation and efficient string vibration transfer, while the Graph Tech NuBone nut helps support consistent tuning performance. Die-cast sealed tuning machines further enhance reliability during practice sessions, rehearsals and live performances. Combined with the guitar's uncluttered control scheme, these hardware appointments create an instrument designed to stay focused on playing rather than constant adjustment.
A Modern Gretsch Built to Rock
Blending classic Gretsch styling with contemporary performance features, the Streamliner CVT is well suited for players seeking a straightforward solidbody with strong output, dependable hardware and comfortable playability. From aggressive rhythm parts to expressive lead work, its mahogany construction, Fast C neck and HotWire humbuckers provide the tools needed for a wide range of modern guitar applications. In summary, the Streamliner CVT electric guitar delivers focused performance with unmistakable Gretsch character.
