The G6118T Players Edition Anniversary Hollowbody was designed for the working professional seeking maximum power, comfort and versatility. Engineered for optimum performance and responsiveness, the Players Edition hollowbody is equipped with FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups which were designed to capture authentic vintage Gretsch voicing but with a more well-rounded tone for modern playing styles. This powerful pair of pickups provides open and pristine top-end chime, glassy midrange, robust low end and balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments. Separate bridge and neck volume controls, a 3-way pickup toggle switch and no-load master tone and master volume allow for infinite tonal variations. A "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitor adds smooth vintage tone while the treble bleed circuit retains all of your guitars tasty clarity when rolling the volume control down.

A rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges tops a maple neck with a comfortably familiar U profile for fluidly easy playing. The Bigsby B6CP vibrato tailpiece and Adjusto-Matic bridge combine with the Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut for maximum tuning stability. The Bigsby tailpiece is string-through, making it quicker (and easier) to change strings, as well as to provide increased vibration transfer for enhanced sustain.
