Gibson

Description

This new 28" long-scale baritone guitar comes strung with .14-.68 strings to add even more beefy, bottom-end tones to the legendary Explorer. The body of the Gibson Explorer Baritone Electric Guitar is solid mahogany for a fat and punchy sound, while the 496R Hot Ceramic and 500T Super Ceramic humbuckers sizzle and snarl with aggressive authority. The neck is carved to a fast yet comfortable Explorer profile and measures .800" deep at the 1st fret and .850" at the 12th, with a width of 1.70" across its PLEK-cut Corian nut. Other features include a preciosa fingerboard, tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, and Grover machine heads. Made in the USA. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

I dont know where to start,I am not to keen on fixed bridges cause if you adjust one string, you adjust the others as well, whether you like it or not. The guitar isnt really meant for heavy metal cause the strings go at a diagonal line, instead of a straight line with going towards the headstock. Also, the fretboard only goes up to 22 frets, instead of 24 frets. I dont understand why gibson does that but hey, i like 24 frets because it makes the strings feel sturdier.
