Description
The Jimmy Page Signature 1964 SJ-200 Limited-Edition acoustic guitar is a faithful recreation of the iconic guitar Jimmy Page used to record Led Zeppelin’s debut album and perform solo on the Julie Felix Show. Built with significant input from Jimmy Page himself, this limited edition model features highly flamed AAA maple back and sides, a AAA Sitka spruce top, and a unique Cherry Tea sunburst finish. With only 100 crafted by Gibson Custom Shop, this guitar offers collectors and players a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of music history. Each guitar is hand-signed by Jimmy Page and comes complete with a Zoso logo case and Certificate of Authenticity.
AAA Flamed Maple for Rich, Resonant Sound
The Jimmy Page 1964 SJ-200 is constructed from premium materials, including AAA flamed maple for the back and sides and AAA Sitka spruce for the top. These tonewoods combine to produce a rich, resonant sound with clarity and depth. The Super Jumbo body, slightly deeper than standard SJ-200s at the neck joint, enhances the low-end response and projection, making this guitar ideal for both powerful strumming and delicate fingerpicking. The multi-ply top and back binding, along with the bound Indian rosewood fretboard, add to the guitar's stunning appearance and durability.
Unique Design and Vintage Appeal
This limited-edition guitar features a 3-piece flamed maple neck with a comfortable Round profile, offering both visual beauty and smooth playability. The rosewood fretboard is adorned with mother-of-pearl Graduated Crown inlays, and the headstock is fitted with gold Kluson Waffleback tuners with Keystone buttons. The 60s-style solid rosewood Moustache bridge is equipped with a gold Tune-O-Matic bridge with nylon saddles, contributing to the guitar’s distinctive tonal character. The Murphy Lab light aging process adds a vintage touch, giving the guitar an authentic look and feel that mirrors the original guitar Jimmy Page played in the 1960s.
A True Collector’s Piece
Each of the 100 Jimmy Page Signature 1964 SJ-200 guitars is hand-signed by Jimmy Page and includes a Zoso logo hardshell case, a vintage-style strap, and an extra Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold-plated brass saddles. The attention to detail in both craftsmanship and aging ensures that this guitar not only looks and sounds incredible but also holds significant value for collectors and fans of Jimmy Page. This limited run is an extraordinary tribute to both the guitar and the legendary guitarist who helped shape the sound of rock music.
