In case you need THE case!

First thing: 3 STARS to GC since I'm reviewing a case that is not pictured above. The case that arrived from the GC Distribution Center has exactly the same exterior construction/design but the interior is totally different. Also, I looked all over the GC web site and could not find the one I received. The excuse from my GC sales rep was that the pictured case may have been out of stock and they sent a different one hoping the customer would be happy and not have to wait on a back-ordered case. So, I have to give the DC an 'A' for effort and compassion. Luckily, I'm very happy with the case I did receive for the following reasons: This is a great, hard shell case that provides the ultimate protection for your bass guitar. Instead of 2 compartments like above, mine has 1 compartment but very roomy, allowing plenty of room for accessories. There is no lid for the accessory compartment as when it closes, the top seals that compartment tight, trapping any allen wrenches, cords, sheet music, etc. from getting loose into the main area of your bass guitar. The black, plush interior is awesome but my apologies for the bad lighting as it's a little difficult to see the details of the compartment due to the dark plush. I like how the case holds the bass at a slight angle rather than parallel with the sides. The bass is completely snug from the end pin to the neck. You also have open space under the head stock to store sheet music. This case also comes with 2 keys to secure the latches. I've seen orange plush that looks good but the black plush fits the sea foam pearl much better. The 3-D Fender logo adds a special touch to the exterior. In conclusion, this case gets 5 stars!
