I purchased one of these harps in the key of "G" from Fender, simply to qualify it with authority....If I never owned and tried one .... I would/could have nothing to say about it ...but ....I did, and I do have something to say without being biased. This is a very durable and fine tune (out-of-the-box) harmonica that is perfect for the beginners also to those that are almost there. I have dropped this harp so many time I can't count them...I have beat this harp to death (my style a harp is very ruff on a harmonica) and yet .... it plays on and on. Because I don't have time to re-tune my blown-out harps..consequently .....I have eight complete sets and tons of other loose odds and end harmonicas laying around "DEAD". I feel I can fully qualify this harp as a very durable, reliable, faithful harmonica, that is not only worth its value, but you can bet on it's ability to take the beginner all the way through their learning stage till they can move on to a better (???) harmonica .....if they think they need a better one.....I have tons of the best harmonica (I paid top dollars for) that have blown out with-in hours of playing them...again...I am extremely hard on harmonicas...but...I am more than willing to pay the cost to continue playing my style ....called "Play-alongers" style. I am "NOT" a player of the blues style to say the very least. I am simply: "King of Rock & Roll Harmonica"..... Have a good day: The Harmonica Man...Good Guy John PS: Don't take a chance at going all out in wanting the most expensive harmonicas to learn on...you will most likely end up with a heap of harmonicas that need re-tuned before you learn your first riff. By-the-way...with full confidence...I would fear little to use this brand of harmonica as my first choice in my concerts and/or my YouTube music videos.

This is a Seydel Session Steel with the antiqued reedcover. The standard Seydel Session Steel has stainless reedcovers, which I like better.

  • Bought as a gift for friend and expected better made product
