Considered a pioneer of the single-ply, solid shell trade, Johnny Craviotto has been building steam-bent solid maple snare drums for decades. Now in the Johnny C Maple Snare, Craviotto has made a solid snare available at an improved price point. Cut with a 45-degree bearing edge, this 100% maple shell produces classic warm, full maple tone with punchy attack and musical overtones.

Standard hardware features a Trick GS007 3-point throw-off, 2.3mm heavy-duty hoops, a ten Diamond Cast lug configuration and a twenty-strand Craviotto-snare wires. Fitted with Remo heads (Coated Ambassador batter and Clear Ambassador bottom), this snare will be ready to perform out of the box.
