Pint-Sized Show-Stopper

I've been a professional guitarist for over 4 decades.I am now semi-retired from the Road, and I mostly busk in Chattanooga, just because I am unable to give up playing. I ran across the sunburst version of this at Guitar Center Chattanoga while looking for something else. I thought it was cute, and would make a nice addition to my collection. I am really into Parlor and smaller-sized guitars. It plays great, and sounded fine for a small travel guitar, better than both the Little Martin, and the Baby Taylor. But when I plugged it into a Roland AC60 amp, I was totally blown away! It absolutely does not sound like a small guitar, plugged in. It sounded as good any acoustic guitar I have ever had, including a Martin D-15, and my 1973 Ovation Balladeer. It actually sounded better than 70% of all the acoustic-electrics I have ever played. Full rich sound, and the small size makes it super-convienient to play, especially on small, tight stages. Like all Yamahas I have ever played, the action comes a bit high from the factory for my taste, but it is a minor problem, easily fixed. And don't let the reasonable price fool you...this thing is built almost bomb-proof, or as close as an acoustic could get to it. Outstanding construction and workmanship. And, it came with a wonderful, heavily padded gig bag with lots of pockets, and shoulder straps, perfect for this type of guitar. I use it to play small coffee shops, and pn the streets. I can carry it on my bicycle easily, take it fishing, canoeing, and even play it in the car while the Mrs. is driving. What more could you ask for? Now, I never go anywhere without it.
