What an amazing value!

I own about a dozen guitars, have owned some collectibles along the way. I was in GC looking at other "pro" axes and picked this one up on a whim. The tone is what struck me first, a clear, classic bell-like purity. I kept trying other guitars and coming back to this one. Next was the satin neck, a comfortable fit, and the fret ends were smoother than models costing several times more! For the price, I almost felt like I was stealing it. The frets did feel gritty at first, but after playing the guitar for several days, they now feel perfectly smooth. The final touch for me was individual bridge saddles. I was a Strat guy exclusively for some 40 years and never liked the traditional Tele saddles. With all that said, I'm now the very happy owner of a guitar I never thought I'd own. I've been bringing it down to the local weekly bar jams, and it's gotten more compliments on how its tone than any of my other guitars. Will wonders never end? Just like at the store, I pull out my other guitars, then come back to this one. It's just got that bit of magic. Oh yeah, and before I forget, it stays in tune just fine, even going from cold car into a warm club. That's as much as one could hope for.

Good for the price but save for Affinity

I am using this to practice, record myself and post some tiktoks about music. I stopped playing for a while but I decided to get this guitar and practice again. You can feel that the fretboard is cheap compared to a Classic Vibes version. The edge of the frets don't bother me but you will feel them as you practice. Some screws are slightly crooked (not noticeable at first glance). The pickguard is going to be scratched the first week. The tones are good enough for what I need. The pickups give you that classic Telecaster sound. I will say, the tones on the high E and low E strings feel a little flat to me, but that's a subjective thing.

    I bought this from my nearby Guitar Center store. I also bought a gig bag for it. This telecaster feels so good to play and it sounds amazing both unplugged and plugged in. It stays in tune thanks to the quality tuning machines. I highly recommend this guitar.

    I bought this about 8 months ago now and have enjoyed it thoroughly. In its stock form you get an amazing beginner guitar that will stay with you. The pickups are not great but that's an easy swap. 10/10 would recommend to beginners only.

    Feels - plays and sounds like a much more expensive guitar. I am so impressed with this purchase. I practice with this unit more than some of my other guitars. For the price I would recommend it. Definitely worth more than the price.

    I was shopping for a completely different guitar when I saw this on the wall. I'd always been Tele-curious, so I pulled it down and plugged it in just to see how it felt. Totally surprised at how comfy it was, and the tone is fantastic! I'd never tried a Squier before, either - my first electric was a Fender Strat in the 90s - and I can't believe how much I like it, especially for a budget guitar. Running it thru my Pod GO, it sounds just as good as ny more expensive guitar I've ever played. It was such a deal, I had to buy it AND the other guitar.

    Yes I had fret leveling to do ....yes I few sharp frets I filed ...yes uneven tuning keys as far as tension goes which I fixed...pick ups were very good and yes I love this guitar plays and feels warm to the touch and makes me play with delight...it's one of my favorite guitars and I own quite a few most are high end Gibson, prs, and such...by the way I don't like fender guitars.

    All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 7.5 – 8.0 lbs.

    I don't understand that question in regard to a Tele. I don't know what you would replace the pups with.
