Honestly bought it for the color and was inexpensive. Learned to play bass on a Fender Jag in the 90's and haven't touched a instrument in over 25 years. So now learning guitar. Feels good and decent quality. Doesn't feel cheap. Decent sound, not perfect. Great learners guitar.

Bought this to take to the office at work so I can noodle around at lunch. I was quite impressed when I pulled it out of the box and started strumming it unplugged. The action was very acceptable with the initial setup. After a little lemon oil on the fretboard, a set of Ernie Ball 10's and a little setup work she plays much better than I expected for such a modest instrument. The pickups sound great through my THD Univalve which is a very unforgiving amplifier I actually prefer the sound of the bridge pickup versus the sound of my 07 American Standard Tele's bridge pickup. Great deal on this guitar! Feet 21, on the high side, had a little bloom but a few strokes of a diamond file fixed the intonation problem

Bought this for my granddaughters first guitar. Couldn't be happier! Plays and sounds great! Wish I would have bought a guitar like this for my first guitar! Great deal on these instruments no doubt.

I've owned a lot of guitars from every price point. I bought this for fun and to modify. This guitar sounds and plays just as well as any custom shop I've ever had and all it needed was a 10-minute set up out of the box. The neck pickup is FAT and the bridge pickup is crystal clear AND has plenty of grit when you hit the gain. The knobs feel a little crunchy but that's easy to fix. Zero fret issues, no buzz, action at .04-.05, 10-46 strings, intonation was dead on. The neck is interesting because it has zero lacquer, just bare sanded wood. It feels nice, just different.

i bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and i started to tune it up myself, the neck feels phenomenal and i thought about keeping the guitar for myself… the guitar looks quite great on display and im sure he will really like it as he was looking for something to upgrade occasionally.

Is the routing on this guitar large enough to install humbuckers in either location? (with a different bridge and/or pickguard, of course).

    No, it isn't.

Am I able to attach a whammy bar to this guitar?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Anything is possible but it would take a lot a work. It's not designed for it.

Will all fender parts fits this guitar? Example an authorized fender pickguard? Will Guitar Center do a full set up after purchase if requested? Thanks NL

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
There is no assurance "all" parts will fit. The guitar will be set up by Squier, in the factory. A set up, after purchase would be an additional service.
