Yes

I bought a sonic tele and it was set very well. I had to adjust the intonation just a little. Plays great. Then I saw the strat on sale plus I had a gift card so I bought this also. The frets were not sharp on either neck. Some reviews say the frets need polishing but I found them to be smooth. The strat was set up perfect. A little fret but on the low e but when it warmed up to room temperature it was fine. Action nice on both guitars. Finish was flawless. I have an American tele and strat. Only difference is the American pick ups have a somewhat warmer soundbut not that noticeable. Don't be afraid to give the sonic series a try and save yourself big money. A few years ago a budget guitar was about what you would expect. Now you will be pleasantly pleased.

Great Sound, Poor Quality Control

I picked up this guitar to fulfill my desire of learning guitar a few months ago. While it sounds great, and I love playing it when I get the chance, I'm often plagued by electrical issues with this. While I often travel a good bit, I keep this in a hard case for its protection, but I'm now faced with having to get it serviced for electrical issues for the second time in a few months. If you're set on getting this, be sure to get a warranty for it, and be aware of what you might get into when it comes to the electronics of the guitar.

    I took it out of the box and I have been jamming on it for about an hour, easy playing neck! I know my wife is going to love it! She has an acoustic but her fingers hurt after 10 minutes so I bought her this! It's an awesome playing guitar right out of the box with very low action. Buy the 5 watt lekato amp that plugs into the guitar and jam away, no cords needed.

    Got the strat on a deal online, under 200 bucks. I did some minimal setting up and swapped strings and I couldn't be more impressed with how good this sounds for the money. Already looking for a sonic tele.

    This strat punches way above is weight. Solid build with pretty good sounding stock electronics. Every switch position sounds unique which is cool. The fret ends are better than usual. The colour is very nice in person.

    Like a lot of new guitars, it needed a couple of adjustments. Everything was solid - but there was a slight fret buzz. This was caused by there being no neck relief. I adjusted that and the buzz was gone. Then I had to make slight adjustments to the intonation. If you know how to do these things, its a good value.

    All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 7.5 – 8.0 lbs.
