Description

The BLX14R is a popular wireless system for mid-level budgets. It has professional features and professional quality, but without some of the esoteric and often expensive features of touring systems. Its range, sound quality and reliability make it a smart purchase for any number of presentations, from music to business, from art to information. The vocal intelligibility and comfort of this system make it a leader in its class.

Choose from one of four bandwidths:
H9: 512–542mHz
H10: 542–572mHz
H11: 572–596mHz
J11: 596–616mHz

BLX1
The BLX1 bodypack transmitter works with lavalier and headset microphones. With the WA302 1/4" to TA4F cable, it also works for electric guitar or bass. The beltpack features an On/Off hard toggle switch, preferring to eliminate the multi-function push button that is used on some wireless transmitters. Many users found the multi-function single button to be inconvenient and unreliable.

It additionally features continuously adjustable gain, a single bi-color LED for battery status, and a rugged ABS polymer body. It operates on two AA batteries for up to 14 hours of battery life. Its sleek, side taper design makes it a comfortable fit on your belt.

SM35
Durable cardioid condenser microphone in a comfortable headset for hands-free vocal performance. Ideal for multi-instrumentalists in live vocal performance. This condenser microphone with cardioid polar pattern does a great job of capturing a dynamic vocal performance while rejecting feedback. The TQG version of the SM35 works with the Shure GLXD-1 wireless bodypack TQG model includes SM35, 2 windscreens, microphone clip and user guide.

BLX4R
This rackmountable version of the BLX4 features simple setup, intuitive controls, and microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity. One-touch QuickScan frequency selection quickly locates the best open frequency in case of interference. For use with BLX Wireless Systems. The BLXR has XLR and 1/4" output connectors and a two-color audio status indicator LED.

    I'm in a pop/rock band that plays midsize venues. I play keys and guitar as well as sing backing and lead vocals. The goal was to be able to bounce between instruments and not be anchored to my mic stand. Mission accomplished! Our first gig is this weekend, so I have the best of expectations having used it in rehearsals. The headset does work along with my in-ear monitors (which I was concerned about). It seems a little bulky. My biggest concern is it picking up my breathing. Hopefully feedback won't be an issue. I may put some kind of paint or coating at the top of the windscreen to get rid of the pickup of my breathing from my nose - but we will see. I've never had a headset wireless before, so I don't have a lot to compare it to except my wired mike - and I found it to be very responsive when compared to that.

    I was looking to replace an SM58 handheld wireless mic that I've had for over 15 years, but didn't have the budget for the SLX series units. This setup has a more affordable transmitter/receiver pair and a very nice SM35 headset. I really like its ability to sense which frequency band is the best for any given venue. I have mainly used it in coffee shops and small restaurants for solo gigs. I've owned it for 3 months and haven't hand any issues at all.
