Description

The Schecter C-6 Plus Electric Guitar packs a lot of features to make it a great value for the price. It sports a comfortable basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck. The rosewood fingerboad has a 14" radius and 24 jumbo frets for playing ease. Schecter open-coil humbuckers provide all the power you'll need, while Schecter tuners and tune-o-matic bridge keep everything in tune. Case sold separately.

    I've only been playing guitar for a few years now. This is the second guitar I've ever owned, and it's great. It's extremely easy to play, only 9 pounds, pickups sound nice, and the finish is really nice. The only problems i encountered when it arrived were minor fret buzz and a neck that was out of wack. If you're a more experienced player, I probably wouldn't recommend this as there's better you can get for cheaper, but if you're a beginner and want an affordable, cool looking, nice sounding guitar this is what you want.D

    I have owned the Schecter C6 Plus for a few months. It did come in set up pretty good. No fret sprout, no dead spots and the intonation was good. The finish is good, but the looks are not that great. From a distance the fake printed top will fool people. However once you get up on it you can tell the top is a printed graphic. The pickups really don't impress me at all. For a hundred more, my other Schecter Damien absolutely blows this thing away. I really don't recommend it, because you can get something way nicer in this price range or something equivalent for less. I'll post some vids so you can hear it.

    This is a nice guitar. I personally don't know what to think of the overall tone that emerges. I received mine for Christmas but had a very irritating fret buzz. Nate at GC in Evansville stepped up and checked it out and discovered a defective neck. He worked with schecter and they replaced it with no issues. New one plays much nicer but sounds so much "thinner" compared to my S1, Omen Extreme 6, squire telecaster, etc. Very difficult for me to play just for that reason alone. I'm just beginning my journey, but love the different tones of guitars and amps each provide respectively, and IMO this falls short. Surely it's the basswood and maple combo but eh.

    I like having a guitar I can toss in the truck and head out for the weekend and not worry so much about damaging it. At the same time, it's not expensive and has good sound. I like the looks (Cherry burst) and it is not heavy around your neck. It is a good purchase for me!

    How is the sound of this guitar? Is the spectrum full in sound clarity? Also, what kind of controls do you get over bass, treble, or mids? I have only been playing for a couple of months but I am looking into getting this guitar, but I know quite a bit about sound and audio.

    This guitar has a great sound whether you are playing clean or going through distortion pedals. The knobs on the guitar control volume and pickup controls for the neck/bridge
