I bought the PRS hollow body piezo SE 3 yrs ago. Awesome guitar and a great value. I play in a cover band. The versatility of this guitar is excellent. I play it through a Fender TMP, and can mimic pretty much any tone from heavy rock to acoustic with ease. Feels great too!

I have a 1955 Gretch, an Ibanez PF230, an acoustic Seagull and I've owned a classical Alvarez. This Piero SE is my favorite guitar so far. I'm a worship leader and have no need for better than this... only new sound effects when looking for a change. The piezo sounds acoustic when I want it to and plays as easy as an electric guitar.

I had recently bought a PRS semi hollow body from online, I liked it but just didn't have that sound I wanted from a hollow body, so I saw this used at a fraction of the price, it did look good from the pictures, but when I received it there was some damage that didn't show up in pics, I first thought I would send it back and pondering it for a couple days they came down on the price in order for me to keep it, I changed the strings and did a setup and let me say this is my go to guitar, the sound is incredible and I can overlook the damage, so glad I decide to keep it, all I can say is AWESOME!

I have had my eye on this guitar for some time now and finally decided to bite the bullet. I have a few other PRS guitars (Core 24-08, S2 Singlecut, and SE McCarty 594), and was wanting to add a hollowbody to the ranks without breaking the bank on another Core model. I have read great reviews about the newer SE models and wanted to give them a chance. Sadly, there was an immediate pickup issue with this guitar. The Piezo system worked fine, but there was literally no Mag output from the humbuckers. I have never encountered this on a new guitar before. And before anyone asks, yes I tried both the Mix/Piezo plug and the Mag plug, and on both, the pickups were dead. I could occasionally get the middle position to work with some knob fiddling, but essentially they were DOA and useless. I'm very disappointed as I really wanted to like this guitar. I'm not sure I'm ready to give it another chance with a replacement either. I've been having some issues with my SE McCarty 594 as well including dead spots and fret buzz due to uneven fret heights. I think I will be sticking with the American made models from here on out.

This is the guitar I've been waiting for!! Traded my PRS Custom 24 SE 30th anniversary in for it. Not only is this a stunning guitar, it plays beautifully and easily. The wide-thick neck is perfect. Its not thick, just thicker than the wide-thin necks on the Custom 24's. I prefer the wide-thick neck myself. Action on this one is perfect, low and quick. The one I played in the store had much higher action, so not consistent, but that can be easily fixed. Going thru my Pevey Vyper II with the amp on accoustic setting, this thing sounds convincingly like a plugged in accoustic. Set on high gain and it rocks amazingly. It can be played very aggressively before any feedback from the hollowbody. Doesn't have the single coil setup, which the Core model also doesn't have. But the Piezo pickup easily makes up for it. I love mixing in some Piezo with the Humbuckers. Just beautiful sounds. I can not recommend this guitar enough. Looks like artwork, and plays even better

I have had two other full body guitars that I loved the sound but were not comfortable to play. This guitar has such a comfortable feel and incredible sound. I was so impressed with guitar I bought a PRS custom SE a week later. I also have a PRS CE 24.
