Perform With Intuitive Controls

The Grand 2 is designed for seamless real-time sound tweaking on the fly. Dedicated LED faders give you hands-on control over volume for each layer. Quickly adjust effects, transpose pitch and create layers or splits with the dedicated buttons and knobs. Seven split points are indicated by LED lights, with smooth crossfades between zones. Everything you need to command your sound in the moment is immediately accessible and easy to navigate.

What's more, Grand 2 features the latest premium hammer-action keyboard from Kawai with triple sensors, combining the responsive feel of an acoustic grand piano. Two Independent Sample Synths

The Nord Grand 2 has two independent Sample Synths with greatly expanded memory and a variety of updated sounds like strings, brass, basses, guitars and more. The Sample Synth section has intuitive controls for shaping sounds quickly. New features like Unison, Tru-Vibrato and Round Robin lend rich, natural sonic characteristics.

Powerful Effects Section

Each layer of the Nord Grand 2 has an extensive Effects section with new types of modulation and time-based effects, plus much more. There are lush reverbs like Spring, Booth and Cathedral as well as modulation effects with adjustable rate and amount. You also get a revamped delay with filter, Flam, Ping Pong, compressor and amp with tone-shaping options. These powerful effects provide endless creative options for your performance.
