The NUX B-8 redefines professional wireless systems, featuring an easy-to-use automatic setup with 2.4GHz interference-free broadcasting frequency and 24-bit/48kHz high-quality audio transmitting. This system has a range of 160 feet and works with guitars, bass and other instruments with electronic pickups, so no matter which you play, you can take advantage of the B-8. Adjustable latency and transmitting modes allow you to optimize the system for your environment, ensuring the best possible sound in any venue. Users can also customize the boot-up picture, adding a personalized touch to the B-8 wireless system.

Instant Connectivity

The B-8 features an automatic pairing system that detects and connects the transmitter and receiver within seconds of powering on for a quick, hassle-free setup. Each system utilizes a unique pairing algorithm to automatically configure its own ID for a secure connection every time.

Extended Range and Battery Life

The B-8 offers an exceptional operating range of up to 160', providing ample coverage for even the largest stages. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 6.5 hours of use, ensuring uninterrupted performance for most gigs or long rehearsals. When the show's over, the transmitter unit can be placed on the receiver to recharge for your next performance.

Convenient Onboard Tools

In addition to high-performance wireless connectivity, the B-8 includes useful tools built right in. The Stable mode helps against interference, while an onboard tuner with multiple modes helps keep your instrument in tune. A built-in booster provides adjustable gain, which is useful for stage performers. Cable tone is a simulation to help players get a warmer sound. The 1/4" send and return jacks allow you to connect your effects pedals for a complete signal chain, and a DI OUT jack provides a balanced output to plug directly into a mixer or audio interface.

I have used this at home, practice, and at live gigs around Texas and have only had 5 or 6 dropouts. A couple at home, some at practice, and one during sound check for a show. The tuner is decent and the boost feature is really cool if you are looking to boost an instruments output into your chain. The transmitter battery holds up well and still has some charge after 5-6 hours of playing where I usually recharge. It recharges the transmitter fast. If you are playing a long gig, you can top it off during breaks. Overall I think it is pretty awesome unit for all of it's features. If you have a modeler/emulator/multi and don't need the bells and whistles, go with the Shure. If you are going into an amp and need a tuner and a boost, this might be your thing. I play bass and I find it quite useful.

Poor quality

When it works I was very very very happy with it. Unfortunately I've had to replace it three times. The small transmitter pack that you attach to the guitar strap is poorly made. Twice the power button stopped working (the button would not spring back out when depressed) and once the threaded cable insert fell into the transmitter. I looked into it more closely it's made overseas Asian low quality do not buy don't make the mistake I did!

    I just received this and I played with it all afternoon and evening. Like all the other NUX products I have, it seems well-made and high quality. The additional features, especially the built in tuner are a nice touch. The transmitter pack is lightweight. I had no drop out issues.

    WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. A few weeks into having it, the power button on transmitter broke. And since you can't buy a new transmitter separately like you can with Boss or Shure, I called technical department. They promised a new one. 2 months later, still no replacement. Waste of money

    I used this a bit at home, where it had frequent short dropouts, and at two gigs. At both gigs after a few songs (and a few short dropouts) it lost connection and nothing I did would fix it so I had to plug a cable into the input jack.

    I have this set all the way to Stable, and still get lots of dropouts, even just a few feet away while practicing at home. Thinking I will have to return it. Anyone have tips on getting it to work better?
