Kick in the Scooped switch to add brilliance and bite to the highs or hit the Boost switch to fatten up the lows with some warm tube-like saturation. The CMB 101 Black Line combo faithfully recreates the Markbass magic right in your headphones, so you can practice unplugged anywhere, anytime. Develop your playing technique and get lost in the music, whether you're in your bedroom, backstage or on the tour bus.

Mix In Media Playback With AUX Input

Connect your smartphone, tablet or MP3 player to the AUX input, and mix in your favorite backing tracks or songs with your bass tone. This makes practice sessions more fun and inspiring. Dial in just the right blend of playback and your own sound via the CMB 101 Black Line's master volume knob.

Connect to PA Systems With Preamp Out

When you're ready to jam with your band or perform live, just connect the combo's preamp out to a PA system or mixer. The CMB 101 Black Line provides the great Markbass sound on stage or in the rehearsal room. The unbalanced preamp out captures the preamp tone, allowing you to send a strong signal to the front of house.

Sooo much more amp, great value.

This is my new home practice bass, but I wouldn't have any problem using this at a small venue gig -- it is much more powerful than it appears to be, and considerably more so than the competitors in its class. It's light enough and the on-board controls are easy to see, navigate, and are responsive. But, as with measuring the quality of any amp (especially bass amps), the chief consideration has to be in the way it sounds. If it sounds bad, no level of power matters. The tone of this bass amp is absolutely buttery, and it suits my style which is a jazz bass with expensive flats. Though this bass is capable of carrying precision tones equally well, it is wonderfully paired with a J bass. Finally, I was fortunate to get this on sale, and as such it is a tremendous value, even when not on sale. I'm glad I got the Markbass instead of the other more well-known brand -- it's a much better, more powerful amp than the other brand that has more wattage.

Sounds cheap

I have several MB things and got this for my daughter to use for college. The only positive thing I can say is it's light and fairly loud. It doesn't sound good though. The speaker has a weird resonance to it that is not musical. We returned it.

Great for small venue like a winery or house party. You can also hook up a DI Box to go to front of house via PA System for a large room, while using the amplifier as a monitor.

  • Definitely would buy this amp again .. A+

I use this product for small intimate gigs and practice I like it. It's very very easy to use and to move around very convenient for small gigs. I have never purchased a mark base product before I have always lean towards MPEG or crate but I recommend using this space And playing out for small intimate gigs is highly recommended
