MEINL

Description

The MEINL Backbeat Bass cajon with tropical hardwood frontplate is a percussionist's dream, delivering deep, focused bass tones and a snappy, modern snare response. At its core, the cajon features a built-in bass port that amplifies low-end frequencies, adding powerful depth to acoustic performances and jam sessions. The frontplate, crafted from tropical hardwood, produces a warm, resonant tone with a natural aesthetic that complements its sonic capabilities. Internally, adjustable micro-coiled steel strings provide a crisp snare sound, giving players the versatility to blend rhythmic textures seamlessly. Measuring 11-3/4" x 11-3/4" W x 19" (LxWxH), this cajon is as compact as it is impactful, making it an ideal addition to any percussion setup.

MEINL Cajon With Built-in Bass Port for Enhanced Low-End Performance

What sets this cajon apart is its integrated bass port, which optimizes the projection of low-end frequencies. This feature ensures that every bass note resonates with clarity and depth, perfect for driving the rhythm in unplugged settings. The port's design focuses the bass response, creating a full-bodied tone that fills the room without overwhelming other instruments. Paired with the tropical hardwood frontplate, the MEINL cajon delivers a rich, balanced sound that blends warmth with articulation. Whether you're locking into a groove or accenting a performance, the focused low end ensures your rhythms remain robust and defined.

The bass really booms with this instrument and the snares sound really great, but the snare sound does not come from adjustable strings as the product is advertised. There are normal cajon snares inside that are not adjustable. The instrument does sound great!
