Description

The Flamenco Series from Lucero is designed with the modern player in mind. A slimmer profile neck than most nylon-string guitars, combined with a cutaway for upper-fret access and premium Fishman electronics will feel instantly comfortable for any steel-string or electric player looking to add the roundness of nylon-string sound to their arsenal. The LFN200SCE uses the warmth of rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top for volume and projection.

Intonation better than guitars costing 5 times as much.

Playing for over 40 years, the last 20 on nylon-string guitars. I've owned many, and they always seem to come up short on intonation. I could not believe how good the intonation is on this guitar. I'll bet the nut, frets and bridge placement are somehow CNC machined. (set using a computer). All the open chords (e.g., Emaj, Dmaj, G maj, even Amaj) ring true. Then move up on the neck even to the 12th fret and chords play in tune. A real joy to a critical ear like mine. The onboard tuner is simple and works great, and all strings are balanced when played through an amp (this is often a problem with under-the-bridge pickups. I spent 2 hrs. filing the ends of the frets to make them smooth, and I now regularly choose this guitar over my $1,500 Cordoba. The intonation is good enough for professional recording purposes.

I am not sure I would purchase this model again.

I anticipate using the guitar as a practice instrument, I own a 12 string and a "steel string" six string acoustic I hope that a replacement model can be found

    fret markers are on the side instead of fret board, it's easy to lose your place on the upper frets. It's very playable.

    I've had this for 6 months and actually feel a connection to this guitar. It Let's me play what im thinking which is to say, im not struggling with the guitar while playing. Ive been exclusively fingerpicking for a few years and it fits that style of playing and my hands. Love the neck profile. I bought it used through guitarcenter.com and the price was right. China is making decent stuff now. Very nice HSC included

    Is the pickup on this guitar really weak, or did I get a defective unit? I plugged this into my amp and had to turn it WAY UP in order to even hear it. If I take another acoustic guitar and use the same settings it blows my ears off. I have also tried this at a friends house with different equipment and had the same result.

    It may be a defect. It also may be a dying battery. I would suggest swapping out the battery for the pickup and see if that fixes the issue.

    Nut Width: 1 15/16″ (50mm) and Yes it has a truss via access in the sound hole. Unfortunately we are unsure of the scale length.
