Tone for Days With Triple Alnico 5 Pickups

The Striker's trio of Kramer alnico pickups serve up a sonic smorgasbord. The bridge 5 HB-1 Zebra Coil humbucker packs plenty of output for high-gain tones, while the two single coils provide sparkling cleans and classic rock chime. 5-way switching lets you access each pickup individually or combine them for even more tonal variety. The middle position pairs the humbucker and neck single coil for thick, rounded tones that are perfect for lead work. Built for Speed With Maple Neck and Licensed Floyd Rose

The Striker's maple neck and fingerboard were designed for playability and performance. Its satin finish and K-Speed SlimTaper C profile feel sleek and fast in your hands. To top it off, the Striker features a licensed Floyd Rose vibrato bridge so you can perform radical pitch bends and squeals while staying in tune.     It was easy to set up my action and the intonation science it was a demo model it needed a few minor adjustments but it was a great tone and it's. A very solid sounding guitar

    Red Striker Purchased, sounds and plays supurb. Fret edges were sharp. Used metal nail file to smooth fret edges and then used 600 grit sandpaper on fret edges. Took 5 min to fix sharp frets.

    Plays supurb, red striker, the fret edges were a little sharp. Used nail file and sand paper and in 5 min the sharp edges were gone.

    Plays like a strat but sounds like an 80's rocker. Only took me about an hour to setup and stays in tune pretty good for a lower end Floyd Rose. This was a great purchase for a road warrior.

    I had to lower the action and tweak the truss rod. I also changed to some new strings. After that, this guitar has been a beast! It plays just as well as other $1k plus guitars in my collection. I've been using it for learning/practicing hair metal solos like Ratt, Dokken, etcetera. The neck is awesome. No sharp fret ends and the frets are very level and smooth. The build quality on the body isn't perfect. The screws holding the 5 way switch are screwed in a little too tight, causing the paint to bulge a little. There's also a flat spot on one of the curves on the outside of the body that looks like it's not supposed to be flat. It's only noticeable up close though. The paint looks great. One of the tuners is a little crooked. Most of the stock hardware is fine. I've had no issues with the switches or knobs. The Floyd Rose Special has been staying in tune about as well as any Floyd Rose can and I've been using it pretty heavily. The stock pickups are ok but nothing special. The tuners are probably the worst thing on this guitar but with the locking nut, its not much of a problem. For the price, it's even better than I expected.
