The Jackson X Series Dinky DK2XR limited-edition electric guitar packs high-output tone and lightning-fast playability into an aggressively styled package aimed at ambitious shredders and metalheads.

Custom Humbuckers Deliver Pummeling Tone

The DK2XR is armed with two custom ceramic humbucking pickups that churn out full, rich tone with ample overdrive and sustain. A three-way blade switch lets you toggle between pickups for a range of sounds from crisp cleans to heavy distortion. Single volume and tone knobs provide additional tonal shaping to suit your needs.

Floyd Rose Tremolo Enables Divebombs Galore

A Jackson-branded Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge system enables radical divebombs, squeals and warbles while keeping the DK2XR in tune through heavy abuse. Unleash your whammy bar creativity without worrying about knocking the guitar out of tune.

Speed Neck and Compound-Radius Fingerboard

The DK2XR features a bolt-on maple speed neck with a satin back finish for slick playability. A 12–16" compound radius laurel fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets for choking out notes with ease. Inverted pearloid sharkfin inlays provide an aggressive esthetic touch. A sculpted cutaway heel gives you full access to the upper frets, so you can blaze through solos without hindrance.

Stage-Ready Style

With your choice of four finishes, poplar body, black hardware and reverse-pointed Jackson headstock, the DK2XR makes a visually arresting statement on stage. The lightweight, solidbody construction reduces playing fatigue, so you can shred through full sets in comfort. A case or gig bag are sold separately.

Don't listen to the anti-hype.

I'll get this out of the way now. I own my own green-screen guitar now. On video, it can be any color or photo... with currently pink pickups. The first one I played in store knocked my socks clean off. I wasn't expecting one of these to play and sound as well as it did. Went back the following Sunday to pick it up, but someone else beat me to it. I ordered one immediately under the condition that if it didn't live up to my expectations we would RMA it until one showed up that was as good. No need to RMA because when I picked it up that Thursday and adjusted the action, my socks were again knocked off. Even the pickups are great. Pink or not. I can fetch all the Megadeth and Andy LaRoque tones I'm chasing. Of all the guitars I own (30), I am reaching for it more than any other, including guitars 4x the price.

I would buy two in hopes that one has less defects

Cheap floyd copy, cheap mini pots, cheap who knows what pickups, cheap under sized string clamps at the nut. Bought two of them. The neck on one was wider than the nut, thicker and different than my other six Jacksons. The jackson signature inlays were off spaced and some were underneath the fretwire. The second one neck shape was closer to what I'm used too and maybe even more thin but had been finished with dirty clear urethane so smudges all over that don't clean off. It also had a splinter come out of the maple where it meets the fake rosewood and left a small triangular hole. If I had a suggestion and they need to go cheap to squeeze the Jackson name for all its worth then just keep the pickups and wiring and put that money toward the woodwork and fit and finnish. The price is a little optimistic! I'll check out another Indonesian Jackson/Fender/Charvel when I have time to mess with possible return. Also if they qc these things and they have defects why not prevent waste and returns and be honest and sell them as blemished with a discount rather than hoping no one will notice like an unsuspecting beginner Thank you! I hope Jackson/Fender improve quality!

    When I received this guitar it was way more damaged than the listing said and was also missing parts. It was immediately evident out of the box, and I returned it to my nearest store in less than an hour of delivery. I was incredibly disappointed as I did a lot of research before buying this guitar and I thought I found what I was looking for.

    Bought new and was shipped an obvious floor model with finger prints all! No manufacturer box, nicely wrapped in bubble wrap with repositioned pickup protection, and MISSING the tremolo bar to boot! Good grief Guitar Center. Shameful.

    This thing plays well didn't have any issues when unboxed after few weeks I did have to tighten the whammy bar and reset the bridge and truss rod. Ever since Its been set it holds tune amayzing even after adjusting to different tunes and changing the bridge tension and the pickups I'd compare to my emg 70s series. Overall would recomend to anyone.

    I keep seeing people compare some of these Indonesian Jackson's to Charvel's, cheaper Charvels are made in Mexico and are way better than these Jackson's. I tried one of these out and I put it down and never looked back, I'll take the Mexican Charvel over one of these cheap crappy Jackson's any day, nuff said

    I got one on sale 6 months ago, which was cool because it needs a fret dress and bridge/neck set up. This is a very unsetup raw guitar, however after the work I did it's one great cheap shredder. High output pickups that are a little dirty, but with plenty of OD and compression sounds clean and rips. This is a guitar worth more than the price. It's made in India or Indonesia, so if you a made in whatever person it's not for ya.

    How much does this guitar weigh?

    All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 7.5 lbs
