SKB Cases Never Let Me Down!

I have never been disappointed with an SKB Case! My Strat is in one,my Nezzie is in one, my Peavey is in one, and my daughter�ۡ���s Martin is in one. My experience with SKB cases goes back quite a ways and I have always been happy with them. This case holds my Kelly like a glove. The interior is solidly constructed and the lining is pleasantly soft without being overly fuzzy. The hinges are very durable and I love the TSA latches. In my mind the price is more than fair, as the quality of every SKB case I've owned has always outweighed their cost.

Close but no cigar!

I ordered this case with my fingers crossed. I had read the other two reviews (one good, one not so good) and decided to try my luck... Long story short, The Kelly DID NOT fit this case. I had to peel the covering back off the styrofoam and use a knife to cut the foam to fit the guitar and then glue the covering back down on the foam. I was unhappy to say the least but it wasn't a hard job to modify the case to fit the guitar the way it should have in the first place. The outside construction of the case is great and it should last a lifetime. So if you buy this case for your Kelly be ready with your knife and glue...

    I Always wanted a jackson kelly since I was a kid because of marty friedman from megadeth. The case is extremely nice top notch stuff, but its funny because my js32 kelly costs about the same amount of money as the case, but that's okay someday when I get little nicer kelly like a x series or something I will already have the right case for it haha.

    Had to pick up this case after purchasing both a Kelly and Warrior. Truly the only thing that will protect the guitars properly. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the craftsmanship for a case at this price should be 100% and when you open and close there is rubbing as the case joints are not flush . Did not want to deal with returning and ordering a new one. Jackson has you as one of the only cases for these guitars

    I own a Jackson Warrior, and a Jackson Kelly. This case fits both. This is my 2nd purchase of the same case. Now I can securely travel with both guitars. These cases are tanks, very good quality.

    I own a Jackson Warrior JS32 electric guitar and it fits perfectly. I love this case, and it is very easy to carry around and has space for my picks, wristband, and it even comes with keys !!!!! They did a very good job at making this and I'm sure you'll love this case and get the same results as I did :D

    Most likely, yes, but let's go through it carefully: Your Jeff Loomis Kelly (by Jackson) is a slightly modified version of the classic Kelly shape — it's a bit more aggressive and sharp, but dimensionally it is very close to the standard Kelly body size. Jackson’s Case for Kelly or Warrior (usually model number 299-6102-106 or similar) is designed to fit both Kelly and Warrior models, which are similar in overall body footprint. Since the Jeff Loomis Kelly is not radically different in overall dimensions from the traditional Kelly models (like the KE3 or KE2), it should fit the Jackson case without issue. The main points to check would be: The sharpness of the body horns (the Loomis has slightly sharper bevels). The neck angle — but Jackson designs their cases with a little room for slight model variations. Whether you have any aftermarket modifications like very tall strap buttons or a non-standard bridge, which could impact fit.
