Description

This American Series Soloist SL3 electric guitar is a high-performance axe designed to push the boundaries of speed, sound and innovation. At its core is an alder body paired with a 3-piece maple neck for enhanced sustain and rock-solid stability, reinforced by graphite rods. The 12"–16" compound radius rolled ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is engineered for fluid fretting and shredding at breakneck speeds.

Seymour Duncan Pickups Deliver Power and Versatility

The SL3's pickup configuration packs a punch with a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 bridge pickup that churns out hot distortion and a mighty low end. The Seymour Duncan SSL-6 middle and neck pickups radiate glassy highs and scooped mids, adept at genres from rock to jazz. A 5-way blade switch, volume and tone controls put the reins of this tonal range in your hands.

Floyd Rose Bridge Anchors Your Sound

A Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge provides rock-solid tuning stability for radical dive bombs, squeals and warbles. With a locking nut and bridge, strings remain securely in tune even under heavy manipulation.

Visibility Day or Night

Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots illuminate the ebony fingerboard to guide your fretting in any light conditions. A heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief tweaks on the go.

Iconic Style, Modern Playability

The SL3 comes in four striking finishes with matching pointy Jackson headstocks and black hardware: Gloss Black, Platinum Pearl, Riviera Blue or Satin Slime Green. Other premium features include Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons. Built for today's players but with a nod to the '80s, the American Series Soloist SL3 inspires at every turn.

    I've owned a lot of Jackson guitars from various years since the early 2000s, I feel like this is the first good one I've been able to afford. Solid pickups are great for the genres I play, mostly, technical death metal and Jazz, only thing they could do better is install original floyds, nothing wrong with the 1000/1500, but if I'm buying a USA guitar, I want my bridge to be the USA OEM Floyd bridge as well. After swapping my bridge out for a better floyd this guitar is 100% what I was looking for. If you're not as picky about your tremolo as I am, you'll also find this guitar exceptional amongst the rather disappointing Jackson Corona guitar lineup.

    I owned an 89 Soloist. This one does not compare. I'm sure it will make all the sub 55 people happy, but those of us that had the original will feel shortchanged....

    I am in love with this guitar. It feels perfect. The satin finish on the neck just feels faster than the others. The soloist feels like a finished product vs the standard bolt on. The profile is easy to play. Many dislike the fact these have no binding, but to be honest... I like it better. No sense in binding that ebony. I own the Slime Green. This is the first JB hum... and quite frankly... I'm digging it. First JB and it's a very versatile pickup with some bite. Overall, I really feel like I bought a guitar that I'm perfectly fine leaving as is for a while. Nothing immediate. Thats a good thing.

    I play mostly heavier faster type music or slower blues , it seems to be adequate for both or any type I would think .Nice to know it was made in California !
