Description

This mid-sized orchestra-shaped acoustic is equally suited for strumming and fingerpicking, and produces a sweet, balanced tone. The perfect choice for the versatile musician, the OM-150CE Westerly Collection Orchestra acoustic guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and an elegant cutaway for access to higher frets. The hidden Fishman GT1 with Sonicore pickup gives this guitar a perfectly amplified boost for gigs and live performances. Other premium features include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1-3/4” nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard and a natural gloss finish.

    I love my new guitar. It was a little more expensive was planning, but well worth it. I have an old Guild G-37 and the OM-150CE did not disappoint. I like the smaller size the wider neck and action better than my old Guild. The Rosewood is beautiful and produces a sweet resonant sound. The Guitar Center Holiday discount was a nice bonus. I will probably change to lighter strings for my taste.

    All solid body, bone saddle and nut, rosewood bridge, and very nice gig bag. Love the sound that comes from this one. Super comfortable to play. Best bang for your buck at this price range hands down. The is action is low and ready to play.

    Beautiful Guitar that came with a very nice case. Action was higher than Jerry Garcia right before a Dead Concert. .014 on the low E .011 on the high E. Took it in for a set up (not at Guitar Center) and it needed a fret level and dress too. With set up, added about 150 bucks to the price of the guitar. Fit and finish of the wood was pretty good. Some small glue lines around the neck joint. Overall looks well made and once set up will hopefully be a keeper.

    Maybe tough to answer. I've played the om-250ce - like a lot maybe had a hint of lack of resonance. Is the om-150 $300 better? It seems same wood - sound different?
