Guild

Description

Built for players who want expansive acoustic tone with modern stage flexibility, the F-150CE from Guild’s Westerly Collection delivers the depth and authority that only a true jumbo body can provide. A solid Sitka spruce top drives clarity and dynamic range while solid rosewood back and sides add weight, sustain and a broad low end that fills the room. Meanwhile, a 25.5" scale length and comfortable C neck shape with a 1.75" nut width supports confident fretting across styles and the onboard Guild/Fishman GT-1 pickup system makes the transition from unplugged playing to amplified performance feel seamless and natural.

Jumbo Body Power With Solid Tonewoods

Guild’s jumbo acoustics have long been associated with bold projection and balanced response and the F-150CE stays true to that lineage. The large rounded body shape moves plenty of air which translates to strong volume and piano-like low frequencies without sacrificing note definition. The solid spruce top responds quickly to changes in touch while the solid rosewood back and sides reinforce harmonic complexity and sustain, making this guitar equally at home driving rhythm parts or supporting articulate lead work.

Comfortable Neck Feel With Classic Guild Details

The neck profile reflects Guild’s vintage-inspired approach, offering a familiar feel that supports long playing sessions without fatigue. A rosewood fingerboard and bridge contribute to a smooth attack and consistent response across the register. Visual details like the Chesterfield headstock emblem, mother-of-pearl rosette and period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard reinforce the instrument’s connection to classic Guild designs from the 1960s while maintaining a refined modern fit and finish.

Stage-Ready Electronics for Live Performance

For players who perform regularly, the Guild/Fishman GT-1 pickup system provides reliable amplified tone without complicating the signal path. The system captures the natural character of the guitar and delivers a clear, usable sound through a PA or acoustic amplifier. Controls remain intuitive, allowing quick adjustments onstage so the focus stays on the performance rather than the gear.

Cutaway Access and Practical Player Features

The elegant cutaway expands access to upper frets, making lead passages and extended voicings more approachable on a jumbo platform. Bone nut and saddle enhance resonance and tuning stability while contributing to a consistent tonal response. Finished in Natural gloss, the F-150CE balances visual elegance with durability suited for regular use.

A Versatile Jumbo for Players Who Need Authority and Control

From full-bodied strumming to articulate amplified sets, the Guild F-150CE Westerly Collection jumbo acoustic-electric guitar offers a confident blend of tradition and practicality. It delivers the commanding sound players expect from a jumbo acoustic while providing the comfort, electronics and build quality needed for modern performance. Whether onstage or in the writing room, it stands as a dependable partner for musicians who want their acoustic voice to be heard clearly and confidently.

I have owned several High end Gibsons, Martins, Taylor's, etc. and this is right on par if not better. I previously owned an SJ200 and this guitar is as good or better for 1/5 the cost, unbelievable! I am so stoked on the quality of Guild over other manufactures right now; the quality is great, the tone is fantastic and really cannot recommend this guitar enough.

  • Would buy again. Sounds very balanced.
