The pedal works well. I would love to have a wah wah pedal to match. My OCD is having a hard time with them being different.

Using near end of chain after gain before delay/reverb. Choosing to leave on the floor and not on the board. Very firm on the floor, sweep is excellent. Perfect for swells if needed and treadle stays put when foot is taken off. Very useful to keep steady level depending on gain, rhythm/lead playing. I think I like it better than my dvp 4 that I use as an expression pedal for my delay. The mini size isn't quite as smooth and fluid due to the smaller footprint but sill an excellent pedal also. Jim Dunlop/MXR has such great pedals/designs. My unit was bought used but after adjusting the tightness and inner settings and cleaning it up, it works like new. I think I'd buy this again for another expression pedal for modulation or my reverb. So glad I bought this.

I used the pedal as an expression pedal to control my Kemper Profiler. The pedal has a good movement and isn't so touchy as my Boss EV30 expression pedal as the pedal moves from the heel-toe position. My boss expression pedal always feels like it's going to physically topple over on its side and I never feel that I have good control when moving the pedal from heel to toe and vice versa and therefore - meaning if using the boss pedal to control the volume, slight movement can lead to a greater unwanted fluctuation in volume. The Dunlop pedal, however appears to be physically stable glued to the floor and has a smooth heel-toe movement both physically as well as any effects which it controls which in itself could be though of as one of its drawbacks... The pedal is heavy and that's just going to add unnecessary weight to my gig bag which is a bigger deal for me than other folks. Why? Because, I now use a Kemper Profiler primarly for the portability of carrying equipment to gigs. The heavyness sort of defeats the purpose of the profiler's portability - oh yeah, the peadl is much larger in size than my Boss expression pedal. Over the years I've read reviews of various pedals 'being built like a tank'. That seems to be people's criteria for purchaing equipment... Yeah this pedal is....but who really cares? Like you're really going to drive a truck on stage to test this theory. You need a pedal that feels good, has good responsiveness both electronically and physically, something that doesn't break down on you when you have a gig, and doesn't wobble around on stage if not mounted on a pedalboard. The dunlop pedal passes this test. I'm happy with the peadl and I'll live with the weight or just use it at home. There really doesn't seem to be that many good expression pedals on the market so I really don't have that many options to choose from. Having said that, The dunlop pedal is probably the best expression pedal I've owned.

I've owned several of these pedals and I'm very thankful for Guitar Center's return policy. I've got a couple of these pedals on other boards and I really liked them. I bought another one for a different board and it lasted less than a week, it made popping, staticky sounds. I took it back, I got another one. It did the exact same thing! I contacted Dunlop and the said they've never had a problem reported. I returned it to another Guitar Center thinking that my local one might have a bad batch of pedals. It done the same thing!! I tried every trouble shooting method I knew. I changed cables, took it out of my chain, and hooked the pedal up directly. Still makes noises!! I follow several social media gear sites and several people were having the same issues!! Mine was under warranty so I returned it and got a Boss volume pedal this time and it sounds fantastic!!
