Enhanced Subharmonic Synth for Application-Specific Tuning

The XTi 4002 features an enhanced subharmonic synth section with controls for frequency, gain and filter type. Easily tune your system's subharmonic frequencies for the specific demands of your application whether for a house of worship, theater production or other venue.

Advanced Thermal Control for Optimized Efficiency

Three user-defined fan modes - normal, early and full speed - give you flexibility in matching the XTi 4002's cooling performance to your particular needs. Keep things running efficiently by selecting higher fan speeds for more demanding applications and lower speeds for less intensive uses. Advanced system monitoring provides real-time data on AC line voltage and power supply temperature for complete visibility into your system's performance.

Remotely Manageable and Built-to-Last

The XTi 4002 works with HiQnet Band Manager and Audio Architect control software for simple remote setup, configuration and monitoring. Integrated Processing
  • Input EQ: 6 parametric filters per channel with adjustable Q, ±15 dB boost/cut. Also adjustable high and low shelving filters. This 8-filter EQ section can be bypassed.
  • Crossover Filters: Highpass and Lowpass per channel. Butterworth 6/12/18/24 dB per octave. Linkwitz-Riley 24/48 dB per Octave. Also includes ±15 dB bandpass gain and polarity control.
  • Output EQ: 8 parametric filters per channel with adjustable Q, ±15 dB boost/cut. This 8-filter EQ section can be bypassed.
  • Delay: for signal alignment of driver; 50 mS of total delay.
  • SubHarmonic Synth: takes the low-frequency content of the input signal and "synthesizes" a new signal that is the same as the input signal but one octave lower. The new synthesized signal is then mixed with the original signal to create the effect. New: Users now have control over frequency, gain, and filter type.
  • Peak x Plus Limiter: user defeatable limiter that allows users to control Threshold, Attack, and Release times.
  • Presets: 30 total presets, 29 of which are user-definable.

    As a mobile DJ, playing music like Hip-Hop, Trap & EDM require serious bass power. Using this amp in Bridge mode to drive subs full power will suck up all the power in the venue and everything will start flickering. Not only will the lights in the venue or house flicker with the beat of the music but the Power LED and the LCD display on the amp will flicker as well. Worse of all, your subs begin to distort and bottom out really bad and it sounds awful EVEN IF THE CLIP LIGHTS ARE INACTIVE. I once plugged the amp to a volt meter and the power drops from 120V to a dangerous 106V! Even my friends QSC KW181 sounded louder than this amp bridged to 2400watt at 8 ohms. So that 2400watt/3200watt rating is a complete LIE! Honestly, this amp is more for light duty use. Like powering a pair of 8ohm tops or 4ohm at most in stereo. I've had lots of people in online threads recommend the QSC PLX or PowerLight amps. Or even Crown's I-tech amps for the ultimate performance. If you have any of these Xti amps, retire them or sell them.

    I bought 2 xti4002 amps for my new sound system and let me tell you, these things are the best! Looking for a great sound? Power? Awesome features? Complete control over the feature settings? Then this is the amp for you!! You can even download JBl speaker setting into these amps to get the best and most sound out of your speakers. Plus, (yes there's more), you can control the whole amp by a computer! All in all, with this amp you will be replacing some of your rack equipment because this amp can almost do it all. The only thing I need now is the dbx drive rack pa+ to eliminate feedback and an effects unit for the vocals.

    Recently purchased the XTI-4000 as for right now it seems to be doing the job! I did like the fact that my drive rack unit had the setting for this amp in memory. I am powering 2 JBL 4719 sub cabinets with this unit, the low end tight thump is there and as far as right now it's doing its job. Either that or I'm an Unbelievable sound guy! Kidding... Also loved the fact it only weighs 11.6 lbs. I have 2 Crown K-2s as well and they are work horses, had them for YEARS! But.. sometimes after the gig and it's time to load up I wish I had a horse to load them in da trailer! So overall (as for right now) I am happy with the performance and weight! oh and the price wasn't that bad either!
