    I've got the 32x rack but this is the way to do hands on mixing now I use the x32 rack as a stage box. I love behringer they have come such a long way . No regrets at all

    Bought the X32 Compact to upgrade from the Xair 18. It is a beautiful mixer that gives all the functionality of the more costly mixers. The sound is fantastic and we are looking forward to it's first live performance test this weekend. I would strongly recommend this for any level musician. Nice Job Behringer!!!

    I have the X32 Compact--I believe it has only 16 input channels. What do I need to buy to expand to 32 input channels?

    You're right—the Behringer X32 Compact mixer has 16 physical XLR inputs on the mixer itself. However, the board supports up to 32 input channels through digital expansion. To expand to the full 32 inputs, you’ll need a digital stage box that connects via AES50, which is Behringer's digital audio networking protocol. Most common and compatible expansion option: Behringer S32 Digital Stage Box Adds 32 remote XLR inputs and 16 outputs. Connects via AES50 to the X32 Compact using a Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable. No latency or quality loss—perfect for live and studio use.

    The Behringer X32 and the Behringer X32 Compact differ in very few ways. As the name suggests, the X32 Compact is the same product as the X32 in terms of software, connectivity, and usability. The differences lie in the number of channels, mic inputs, main outputs, and faders.

    On the Beringer x32 compact. Does the extended warranty start when the manufacturer's warranty runs out and how long is the manufacturers warranty?

    The extended warranty does begin when the manufacturer's warranty ends. The manufacturer warranty is 3 years if registered within 90 days, 1 year if unregistered.
