Would buy again

Bought this mic for 1 wedding ceremony I performed 5 yrs ago but since our family uses it for karaoke a few times a year and works great! I've only changed the batteries in it 2 times in 5 yrs. We've been quite satisfied with this product. I'm looking to buy another for better karaoke enjoyment (duets) 😎

Maybe good for permanent setup??

Perhaps this would work if it was set up in a permanent location with zero interference from any other wireless sources. Good luck. The few times I tried to use this, there was a constant flickering red light on the receiver from interference, which meant if the microphone was ever switched to "mute" an awful pulsing white noise would blast from the speaker. When the mic was switched "on", again came the awful noise interrupting every other word. This was the second cheap wireless unit I tried with dismal results. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a decent wireless unit for under $100.

    I purchased it an tested it. The microphone was shut off but the receiver was indicating that mic was on transmitting. Terrible feedback.

    Tried it 3x in a one year time frame and it stopped working every time within a few months. It had good range and sounded good all of a sudden stopped working 3x I'll never buy again!

    cheaply made microphone it worked okay for a few days but won't even turn on after a week. the light doesn't come on and no sound picks up. it's a cheaper price point mic but that doesn't warrant for it to last less than a week after purchase. i've had other akg mics before and well none of them lasted forever a week has to be a new low.

    I've tried using it a couple of times and always failed me when it counted. Luckily I had a basic corded mic which saved me. It pops just 5 feet away. When you switch to off the white noise is atrocious. Embarrassing really when trying to be professional. Lost receipt can't return. :(
