I was a little nervous about this deal. But read early reviews and went ahead and ordered. I am super satisfied with these mic's. They are hot and the sound is as good a as you could ask for from more expensive mic's.

  • Need better clips

The mics are pretty good (what I expect from AT), the stands are OK, but I'd definitely invest in at least one straight stand to go along with this package. The clips that come with the mikes suck! Made of hard plastic, difficult to insert/remove a mic with a cord attached (sometimes have to spread the clip open with two fingers while laying the cord in with the other hand. So... invest in a straight stand and some better clips and this is a winning package. Oh, and I use a piece of gaffer's tape to block of the switches so I can control everything from the mixer, but that's just my nitpicky thing.

These mics are fantastic sounding for the money. For live performances, they are very comparable to sm58 mics that are much more expensive. The mic stands are very sturdy. Buy em!!

This is not a bad deal altogether. The mics are pretty good, the stands are pretty good, the cables-are pretty bad. If your performing or just using them at home, the cables need to be replaced. It's still a pretty good deal for the money.

  • Not Bad at All

Purchased the mic pack for practice only. The mics are great, very good tone and volume, cords are good, the mic clips were disappointing, thin plastic, and the stands are a little light weight. But the main thing for me was getting something inexpensive and I think the mics make up for it.

These mics are great mics... When they work. I don't know if it's the cables or the mics themselves, but they short in and out all the time, and if you're playing in a band like me, that's not good. For $99, you're getting what you pay for; which is $99. I'd recommend giving the extra few bucks to get better equipmment. The stands are great and sturdy; they can really take a beating. All-in-all, the equipment isn't bad, but definately don't make it your only hope.
