Excellent quality for the price!

For the July 4th sale price on this item, it's amazing. This is a very base model which is all I needed; however, it is fully automatic for 45's and 33's. You just set the record size and the speed and needle placement is all automatic. It does not have an arm lock, which would be nice, and it does not have a manual finger arm lift, but since it's all automatic you really don't need it unless you have an odd size record. The quality and sound is amazing, and like I said, it's really all I needed. I really like it.

Adequate Vinyl player for the money

This plays vinyl adequately if you're not picky and just need a record player. It has several drawbacks that might make you seek out a more expensive model. First, you cannot use just any cartridge, it has to be an AT one. 2nd, the RCA cable is attached to the innards and it is very short. If you need more than a few feet, you'll need another cable and some couplers to boot. Finally, the playback speed is inconsistent enough to be audible. I used a RPM app on my phone and it was playing too fast. The only adjustment is a tiny screw on the bottom of the unit, so you have to turn it off, secure the arm and turn it over to turn the tiniest of screws you can't actually see and test again after turning it back over. Then I found that the weight of my phone doing the the RPM test was heavy enough to affect the speed such that removing my phone caused the table to speed up! (Physics is a B!) If you aren't picky and just need something cheap to play records, this is passable, but I would look for something else if you want something accurate as a long investment.

    I bought this last week, it is not the high end model by any means, but it is excellent in it's own rite, would have been nice to include a USB option, but all i need to do is get an RCA/USB adaptor (which i did right away) i love the Audio Technica LP60!

    The LP60 has potential. BUT, a HUGE FLAW IS NO TRACKING WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT!!! Out of the box, the turntable is NOT usable. Tracking is too light; you just look at the turntable, and it skips. I've contacted Audio Technica; it's a KNOWN PROBLEM which they solve by sending a weight for the tracking arm head. Turntable is unusable since arrival, and we will see if the tracking weight will solve the problem. I hope so.

    Plays 33 LPs with ease and clarity. Fantastic. And easy hook up directly to a soundbar, no additional pre amp required if you flip the switch on the back of the turntable.

    Great quality, sounds good; does NOT hook up to the computer though, so if you don't have a receiver amplifier it's not for you. Plays well through my JVC setup.
