With the LCD-XC headphones, Audeze introduces a new standard of professional monitoring. These headphones are dynamic, nimble, neutral and transparent, accurately revealing all the sonic details in your mixing or mastering projects. 

Used by recording engineers, musicians and audiophiles alike, these closed-back headphones offer all the benefits of a planar magnetic headphone with increased isolation and greatly reduced ambient noise for a private and powerful listening experience. Your favorite music erupts from a silent background taking on a life of its own. The sense of space is enormous, the midrange and high frequencies offer fantastic detail so you can hear further into the recording with more air and separation between performers.

To give you added control in the studio, Audeze has developed REVEAL, an innovative plugin that applies carefully designed filter presets specific to Audeze's headphone models. This provides the listener with an experience similar to what you would hear from high-quality studio reference monitors in an acoustically treated room (but without the pesky room reflections and reverb). The presets are not meant to fix any issues, but rather to enhance the listener’s experience. REVEAL is compatible with most popular digital audio workstations (DAWs) and is available in VST/AU/AAX formats for PC and Mac.
