Logic Pro 7 includes distributed audio processing (up to 128 stereo streams) via Ethernet-worked computers for more DSP processing power; innovative software instruments including a component modeling synthesizer (Sculpture) and a beatbox with 25 voices and virtually unlimited parameter adjustment (Ultrabeat); low-latency MIDI processing; and and the ability to insert Apple Loops audio as software instruments with full control of pitch, instrumentation, and effects.

The Logic 7 Audio Production System supports audio at 16- and 24-bit resolution and sample rates of up to 192kHz for both audio recording and playback of internal software instruments.
