    This is an inexpensive way to create a light show, because too many people forget that the actual show is caused by the light effects. In order to have effects, you need to CONTROL THE LIGHTS. Thus being able to turn on each of the 8 channels independently, gives you this control. This is a lower cost way of controlling your lights.
