Put the finishing touches on videos or ambient compositions with our comprehensive collection of sound effects and music beds. Improved sound browsing allows rapid auditioning and sound selection. The Favorites star enables fast recall of frequently used sounds. Infinitely broaden your sound palette with built-in Freesound.org browsing and import functions.

Live Performance
Rock the house with automatically synced, non-stop audio and MIDI clip grooves using the amazingly flexible Performance Panel. Create mixes and mashups with audio warping and song slicing. Manipulate the Performance Panel under your fingers with a Novation Launchpad, MIDI controller, or even your computer’s keyboard, and jam along with Mixcraft’s powerful virtual instruments. Record loops directly to Performance Panel grid locations for instant creation of layered live loop performances.

Improvements Everywhere. The first thing you'll notice is Mixcraft 9's modern look. The transport and details panels are all individually undockable and can be placed anywhere around your desktop. The transport can be moved to the top of the software if desired, and the controls can be left-justified, right-justified, or centered.

MIDI Scoring and Editing. MIDI users will find a lot to love. There are improvements to the piano roll, including new tools for drawing MIDI controller automation. The new step recording feature enables rapid creation of mono and polyphonic patterns. The new Acoustica Vocoder effect is an 11-band analog-style vocoder based on classic hardware. DAW setup of vocoders has traditionally been challenging, but Mixcraft's new Vocoder Tracks automatically configure all instruments, effects, and routing for instant use. It’s never been easier to compose your own beats, patterns, and musical scores. Build custom beats and musical patterns at lightning speed using the fun and creative new step sequencer. Create and edit performances with the powerful piano roll editor. Use the notation editor to write, view, publish, and print professional-quality music scores.

Instruments and Effects. Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio is loaded with new effects from ToneBoosters. Automation is tremendously enhanced in Mixcraft 9. In addition to curved automation, Acoustica has added pitch automation to every audio clip and a master tempo envelope for smooth tempo ramps. All effect and virtual instrument parameters are now controllable by tempo-synced LFOs for musical and rhythmic effects.

The new mixer has received a major upgrade with the addition of a number of new panels. The new Gain, Preamp, Compressor, Parametric Equalizer, Spectrum Analyzer, and Oscilloscope mixer panels add utility to an already powerful mixing environment.

Video Editing
Mixcraft is more than just a blockbuster DAW - it’s also a feature-packed pro video editing and scoring environment. Load and edit video files and still images with ease. Crossfade video clips, create transitions, and add a professional touch with fantastic video effects. Rapidly create slideshows from photo collections. Add titles and scrolling text. Mixcraft 9 supports MP4 audio and video in addition to WMV and AVI formats.

Mixing and Mastering
View and edit multiple parameters simultaneously with powerful lane and clip-based automation. Use any MIDI hardware controller to automate and record dozens of mixer, virtual instrument, and effects parameters. Mixcraft offers support for a vast array of hardware control surfaces, including Mackie Control-compatible hardware, Novation Launchpad, and Acoustica’s exclusive FREE Mixcraft Remote mobile app. Once your masterpiece is complete, easily publish the mix to your favorite format or burn it directly to an audio CD.
