Mitchell MS450 Modern Single-Cutaway Electric Guitar Black Cherry

I purchased mine almost 2 years ago, and I like it. Recently one of the tuners failed. It's a minor repair, but after contacting service, they asked for a video, and I provided one. I have not received another response since.

I was primarily looking to get an electric guitar that was light weight with a comfortable fit for me as I am a petite guitar instructor and musician with arthritis in my hands/fingers. Wow! I truly lucked out with this gem! The features include locking tuners, humbucking pickups that can produce single coil sounds, jumbo frets, and a slim tapered neck to name a few. But what impressed me the most was its comfort and playability in my hands! It is not as heavy as other electric guitars I have played, and it feels like it was custom made for me. It appeared to have been set up already straight out of the box! The neck fits my hands perfectly and the action is perfectly set. I have been a guitar player for 50 years and am so grateful I found this guitar with not only great sound and tones but one that plays so easily for my arthritic hands. The only issue I had with this guitar is that the nuts had fallen off the toggle switch. Since then I regularly check to make sure they haven't loosened or fallen off. #sweepstakes

This appears to be a floor model, though this was indicated nowhere on the product page. It was shipped in a Gibson box. The guitar was in good condition - just a few small dings. The problem was the electronics. The pots were scratchy and one pickup know wasn't working properly. Returned.

i've been a guitar player for a little over 10 years, and always preferred S type guitars i was in a guitar center one day in Austin texas, just browsing and i saw this, and despite not being one for les pauls, i picked it up and gave it a try i plugged it into a Line 6 catalyst because it was what was the closest to me, and threw the pickup into the middle position and split the neck pickup and was extremely delighted to hear the clean sounds i got i immediately bought it, and took it home and threw some distortion on it and explored the sounds that i was able to get from this guitar despite not looking like it, this guitar is great even for disgusting amounts of distortion it sounds like no other guitar i have and rivals my fender strat for clean tones it sounds just as good if not better than some of my ibanez guitars which some i paid 3-4 times the price for. seriously, for the price and quality and sound of this guitar, it is an absolute steal it rarely ever goes out of tune, and is by far the most versatile guitar i have in my arsenal if you have the $200-400 and are looking for a decent all rounder, definitely get this guitar. you will not be disappointed

This is my second MS450, I also have a red one. This guitar is inexpensive, but is loaded with things found on much more expensive guitars. I own a Gibson Les Paul, Fender Stratocaster, and a Deangelico Bedford. Although the Mitchells are less expensive, they are easy, fast and FUN to play. Most cases they are my first "go to" guitar when I just want to kick back and practice.

I am a professional musician and also a guitar Luthier ,this guitar is great plays well very little adjustments needed.Bought mine from the guitar center on Yale st in Houston Texas,Adrian there was extremely professional and help full.I regularly go to the Yale and Westheimer store only because of one sales person ,Jim Thompson at the Westheimer store who also is extremely professional and has proper etiquette with customers ,can not say the same for the others at that store.
