Warm Audio

Description

The Warm Audio Reamper analog routing device is designed to expand how guitar, studio and line-level signals interact in modern recording workflows. It allows recorded guitar tracks to be sent back through real amplifiers, supports silent tube amp recording and integrates pedals or rack gear into signal chains that would otherwise require multiple devices. Built as an all-analog re-amping system with independent preamp and re-amp paths, variable impedance control, balanced XLR and 1/4" I/O and a built-in 50W/8-ohm power soak, the Reamper provides a flexible approach to shaping sounds during tracking, mixing and re-amping.

Independent Preamp and Re-Amp Signal Paths

Warm Audio designed the Reamper to separate instrument preamp and re-amp functions into independent signal paths, allowing simultaneous workflows that are typically handled with multiple devices. Players can track through a real tube amplifier for feel and response while capturing a dry signal for later re-amping or processing. This architecture also supports integration of guitars, keyboards, pedals and other sources that require different gain staging and routing approaches within the same session.

Variable Impedance and Transformer-Based Signal Control

Variable input impedance from 120 kOhm to 1 MOhm enables the Reamper to adapt to both passive and active sources, shaping pickup interaction and overall response before the signal reaches downstream gear. Custom CineMag USA transformers on each signal path provide isolation and consistent signal transfer between instrument-level, line-level and speaker-level sources. Lastly, a switchable JFET discrete or JFET op-amp input stage further refines input character, offering a choice between a more colored response and a cleaner signal path.

Silent Tube Amp Recording With Integrated Power Soak

The built-in 50W/8-ohm power soak allows users to capture the sound of a tube amplifier’s preamp and power section without connecting a speaker cabinet. This makes the unit well suited for home studios, controlled recording environments and late-night sessions where volume is a concern. For amplifiers up to 50W, it provides a direct path to driven tones while maintaining a manageable monitoring level through an audio interface.

Flexible Routing for Pedals and Studio Signal Chains

The Reamper enables two-way integration between guitar rigs and studio systems. Guitar pedals can be inserted into balanced, line-level signal paths for vocals, drums and synthesizers, while studio rack processors can be introduced into guitar recording chains. Plus, balanced XLR and 1/4" connections, phase invert and ground lift per channel and stepless output level control support precise signal management. In total, the Warm Audio Reamper analog routing device provides a practical solution for engineers and players who need flexible routing, re-amping and integration without adding unnecessary complexity.
