Vintage 1977 Guild D40 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar

Bona fide made in the U. S. of A. Guild D40--We've put this Guitar in good condition due to the fact that the bridge, nut, saddle, and tuner machines are all in excellent condition--however the rest of the workhorse guitar shows its miles--plenty of scratches from getting around the room and in and out of cases, dings (but no seperation!) all throughout the binding and edges, and lots of chipping on the edges of the headstock and some rough spots down the neck. You could guess the year from looking at it, even if you didn't know American Guilds, but this another big find for us where the sound has aged wonderfully for this guitar. It has a J-45-esque weight to the sound, and if you're into eclectic guitar collections that are more than meets the eye--this is one of them.
