Description
The dbx DriveRack 481 is a slave unit that includes all of the functionality and features of the DriveRack 480 and incorporates 4 inputs and 8 outputs with Euroblock connectors. However, the 481 does not include the front-panel programming interface. All programming functions can be performed through the 480, the 480R, or via the Windows GUI. An unlimited number of slaves can be chained together.
The dbx DriveRack series offers complete integration of all of the elements required to achieve state-of-the-art loudspeaker management. The 481 DriveRack was designed to provide 4 independent input and 8 output channels of processing power that include 31-band graphic equalizers, as well as dbx's industry-standard dynamics processing. All aspects of the 481's features can be controlled by the included dbx Professional Products Interactive DriveWare software. Software updates can also be downloaded instantly from www.dbxpro.com through the RS 232 port.
The DriveRack 481 includes pre-crossover EQ, dual RTAs, notch filters, speaker delays, multiple crossovers and compression/limiting, as well as numerous other features. Dual RTA analyzers can be run simultaneously with RTA source inputs capable of being remotely switched on the fly.
