The result is a balanced, transparent signal path that remains flat across a wide frequency range, allowing instruments such as bass guitar, electric guitar or keyboards to retain their full tonal character without unwanted coloration.

Extended Frequency Response With Practical Tone Control

Engineered for accuracy, the mono PCH-X1 delivers an extremely flat frequency response—from deep sub frequencies around 10Hz to extended high frequencies up to 80kHz—ensuring faithful reproduction of both low-end fundamentals and harmonic detail. Total harmonic distortion remains exceptionally low, preserving clarity even at higher signal levels. Practical controls include a ground lift switch to reduce hum and a three-position high-pass filter, allowing you to roll off low frequencies at 80Hz to control stage rumble or at 240Hz to create space in a mix.
