Co-developed with Image-Line, the Novation FLpad Mini grid controller puts 64 RGB-backlit pads and dedicated FL Studio controls into a compact 8 x 8 surface built for hands-on beatmaking wherever you work. Trigger samples directly from the Channel Rack, step-sequence as many as four instruments simultaneously, perform drums and melodic parts, slice samples, edit notes and develop Patterns without constantly returning to the mouse. Dedicated transport, Channel Rack and mode controls keep core production functions within reach, while USB bus power and a footprint of just 7.1" x 7.1" x 0.57" make FLpad Mini easy to add to a desktop setup or carry with a laptop. A six-month trial of FL Studio Producer Edition plus additional instruments, effects and Melodics lessons provides a substantial software package for turning that portable workflow into finished productions.

64-Pad Grid Brings the Channel Rack Under Your Fingers

The color-coded grid provides direct access to FL Studio's Channel Rack for selecting and triggering samples, building sequences and performing parts. Sequencer View lets you work with up to four Channel Rack instruments at once, making it possible to develop drum patterns, basslines, melodies and chord sequences together from the hardware. FL Studio's Graph Editor is also accessible from the grid for editing parameters including velocity, pitch and note repeats, while Channel Rack Mixer mode transforms the pads into fader-style controls for hands-on level adjustments.

Dedicated Modes Handle Drums Melodies and Samples

FLpad Mini adapts its 64-pad surface to different parts of the production process instead of limiting the grid to one type of performance. Dedicated layouts support FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer for tapping out drum parts and working with sliced material, while Note mode turns the controller into a melodic performance surface for basslines, chords and lead parts. Notes can be arranged chromatically or locked to a selected scale, helping players explore melodic ideas directly from the grid. A dedicated Pattern view also makes it easy to create, select, clear and duplicate Patterns as an arrangement begins to take shape.

Hardware Controls Keep FL Studio Moving

Seven Mode buttons join dedicated Page and Channel Rack/Octave controls to provide quick navigation between different production tasks. Transport functions put Play, Stop, Record, Score Log, Undo, Redo, Clear and Tempo control on the hardware, while additional workflow integration includes quantization and project navigation. For users who want to move beyond the factory mappings, Novation Components supports custom layouts for FL Studio as well as other compatible software and hardware, allowing the controller to take on additional roles as a production setup evolves.

Compact USB-Powered Design Goes Wherever You Produce

At just 0.85 lb. without accessories, the controller is designed to travel easily between a desktop, backpack and mobile production setup. USB-C connectivity carries both data and bus power, eliminating the need for a separate external power supply, and class-compliant operation supports compatible Windows, macOS and iOS systems. A Kensington Lock slot provides an additional option for securing the unit in shared workspaces, educational environments or permanent installations. The Novation FLpad Mini includes a USB-C-to-USB-A cable for straightforward connection to compatible systems.

Included Software Builds Out the Beatmaking Toolkit

A six-month FL Studio Producer Edition trial provides more than 100 instruments and effects, unlimited audio clips, stem separation, loops, samples and presets to complement the controller's dedicated integration. The software package expands further with GForce Oberheim SEM, OB-EZ and AXXESS synthesizers, Klevgrand LUXE processing and Slammer drums, plus the UVI Prime 8+ drum machine. Interactive Melodics lessons provide another way to develop pad-performance skills specifically with the controller. Backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty, the Novation FLpad Mini combines direct FL Studio control, portable hardware and an extensive production bundle into a streamlined starting point for hands-on beatmaking.

Warranty

All Novation products are built to the highest standards and are designed to provide many years of reliable performance. In the event of a manufacturing defect becoming evident during the warranty period, Novation will ensure that the product is repaired or replaced free of charge. The warranty for any product purchased on or after January 1, 2018. is a period of 36 months from the date of original purchase. The warranty period for products purchased on or prior to December 31, 2017, is 24 months from the date of original purchase.

A manufacturing defect is defined as a defect in the performance of the product as described and published by Novation. A manufacturing defect does not include damage caused by post-purchase transportation, storage or careless handling, nor damage caused by misuse.

While this warranty is provided by Novation, it is fulfilled by Novation’s distribution partner in the country in which you purchased the product. To contact Novation's local distribution partner regarding a warranty issue, go to their website. They will advise you of the appropriate procedure for resolving the warranty issue. Note that many of the products returned under warranty are found not to exhibit any hardware fault at all. In the case of operational interruption, it’s worth checking other factors, such as cables, drivers, software settings, and the like, prior to returning your hardware. Contact Novation support.

In every case, you will need to provide a copy of the original invoice or store receipt to Novation’s local distribution partner. In the event that you are unable to provide proof of purchase, you should request a copy of your receipt. If you purchase a Novation product outside your normal country of residence, Novation’s distribution partner in your normal country of residence will not be able to honor this limited warranty, although you may request an out-of-warranty chargeable repair.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights in the country of purchase.
