Mission Engineering GM-Io Powered Guitar Speaker Cabinet

The Mission Engineering GM-Io is a 1x12, 450W full-range active monitor that is a fraction of the size and weight of a typical stage cabinet.

Io utilizes the latest technology to provide the power and features of a full size monitor in an easily transportable package. At just 29 lb., Io can easily fit into a small case or large back pack. It can even be taken as airline carry-on, making it ideal for fly rigs.

The 12" main driver features a Neodymium magnet, and aluminum basket construction providing 500W power handling from a unit that weighs just 5 lb. A 1" compression driver with 80 degree circular horn provides good high frequency dispersion with very low distortion.

Io is an active monitor with on board 450W power amplifier providing excellent bandwidth characteristics at very low distortion.

Advanced firmware running on Analog Devices SigmaDSP audio processors includes multi channel parametric equalizers, and an 8th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover providing a flat frequency response up to 20KHz. Automatic compressors and limiters protect the system against damage from audio spikes and similar events.

These features make Io ideal for use with current modelers and cabinet simulators such as the Line 6 Helix, Kemper Profiler, and Fractal Audio Axe-Fx.

Connection is via a balanced XLR connection on the rear panel, with a single master level control. Other features are handled automatically by internal software, making Io quick and easy to setup and use.

Cabinet is made in the USA from void free Baltic Birch with slant front, black Taurus covering, Silver basket grill cloth and black metal corners. Four rubber feet, and a top carry handle with black metal trim are included.
