Description
Broad'Tron Humbuckers for Powerful Tone
At the heart of the G2420T Streamliner are its Broad'Tron humbucking pickups, designed specifically for this model. These high-output pickups offer a tone that’s bold yet balanced, blending punchy lows, crisp highs and a throaty midrange. They excel in band settings, cutting through the mix while maintaining the signature Gretsch sound. Shape your tone with individual volume controls for each pickup, a master volume control and a master tone knob, allowing you to dial in everything from warm, jazzy cleans to biting rock rhythms.
Fast-Playing Neck and Reliable Bridge
The Gretsch G2420T is crafted for effortless playability. Its thin U-shaped neck and 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets make both chords and solos comfortable and fluid. The Adjusto-Matic bridge with a secured rosewood base ensures solid tuning stability and precise intonation, even during intense playing. The combination of its neck profile and bridge design makes this guitar equally suited for beginners and experienced players alike.
Iconic Gretsch Style
The Gretsch Streamliner G2420T is a visual masterpiece, featuring classic Gretsch appointments that stand out in any setting. Gold control knobs, elegant f-holes, two-ply black-and-white body binding and nickel hardware highlight its vintage-inspired design. The single-ply black pickguard emblazoned with the Gretsch logo adds an extra touch of sophistication, while the Walnut Stain finish accentuates the beauty of the arched maple top and body.
Expressive Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece
The Bigsby-licensed B60 tailpiece is a hallmark of Gretsch guitars, offering smooth, expressive vibrato effects. Whether you’re adding subtle pitch modulation or creating dramatic swells, the Bigsby pairs beautifully with the G2420T's hollowbody construction and Broad'Tron pickups. From jazz and blues to rock and beyond, this guitar is versatile enough to handle any genre with style.
