Gretsch Guitars Electromatic CVT Baritone Electric Guitar - Bristol Fog

Description
The Gretsch Electromatic CVT Baritone electric guitar gives players deeper tuning range with the tension, clarity and control needed to keep low-register parts useful in real arrangements. Its solid mahogany body, beveled contours, 27" scale length and bolt-on maple neck create a focused baritone platform, while Twin Six humbuckers provide the output and articulation needed for clean layers, heavy riffs and dramatic hooks. Individual push/pull coil splits, a master volume with treble bleed and a master tone complete the setup, giving this low-strung Gretsch CVT Baritone the flexibility to move from thick, full-range power to leaner, more defined textures.
27" Scale Length With Controlled Low-End Response
The 27" scale length gives the Electromatic CVT Baritone its firmer feel and lower-register focus. That added length helps heavier .014–.068 strings maintain tension, allowing riffs, drones and chord voicings to speak with more definition than they typically would on a standard-scale guitar tuned into the same range. The result is a balance of depth and control that makes the guitar useful for players who want baritone weight without moving fully into bass guitar territory.
Twin Six Humbuckers With Individual Coil Splits
Twin Six humbuckers give the guitar the output and balance needed for extended-range playing, delivering a strong full-size humbucker voice with enough articulation to keep baritone parts clear. A three-position toggle handles neck, bridge and combined pickup selections, while push/pull controls split the neck and bridge pickups individually for leaner single-coil-style textures. The master volume includes a treble bleed circuit, helping the guitar retain high-end detail when the volume is rolled back.
Solid Mahogany Body With Beveled Contours
A solid mahogany body gives the CVT Baritone a grounded voice with strong punch and midrange presence, while the beveled body contours help the larger-format instrument sit comfortably against the player. The bolt-on maple neck adds snap to the attack, keeping low notes from feeling overly soft or indistinct. Finished in Bristol Fog with a 3-ply black, white and black pickguard, the guitar brings unmistakable Gretsch character to a deeper, more forceful format.
Performance "C" Neck and Stable Baritone Hardware
The bolt-on maple neck uses Gretsch’s Performance "C" profile, pairing the longer scale with a familiar feel under the hand. A bound rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays supports clean fretting across heavier strings and wider low-register voicings. A Graph Tech NuBone nut, Adjusto-Matic bridge, stoptail tailpiece and die-cast sealed tuning machines help maintain the tuning stability and intonation support a baritone setup requires.
A Practical Baritone for Deeper Guitar Parts
The CVT Baritone is built for players who want to add lower-register power without losing the role and response of an electric guitar. It can reinforce standard-tuned rhythm tracks, create darker melodic hooks or open up heavier riff ideas with more tension, focus and Gretsch attitude. For musicians looking for a stable, clear and flexible baritone with unmistakable character, the Gretsch Electromatic CVT Baritone electric guitar makes deeper range feel immediately usable.
