Description

The DW Collector's Series 333 Maple snare drum combines a 9-ply maple shell with DW's VLT construction and a versatile 14x6.5" configuration. Available exclusively at Guitar Center, this snare features 60-degree bearing edges and the warm, balanced tonal character associated with maple shells. Its 6.5" depth provides a familiar playing profile for drummers seeking a full-size snare for a variety of musical settings. DW True-Hoops, Turret lugs and a MAG throw-off complete the hardware configuration, providing established tuning and snare engagement features. Made in the USA and fitted with DW heads by Remo, the 333 Maple snare is available in four distinctive Finish Ply options: Grey Swirl, Midnight Swirl, Copper Marine and Gun Metal Swirl.

Maple VLT Shell With 60-Degree Bearing Edges

At the heart of the 333 Maple is a 9-ply maple shell featuring DW's Vertical Low Timbre (VLT) construction. This shell design incorporates vertically oriented wood grain to influence the drum's fundamental pitch and resonance. The 14" diameter and 6.5" depth provide a traditional snare configuration, while 60-degree bearing edges establish the contact between the shell and drum heads. DW True-Hoops and Turret lugs provide the hardware for head tensioning and tuning, while the MAG throw-off allows convenient engagement and disengagement of the snare wires. Together, these components complement the maple shell's acoustic design and provide familiar DW functionality.

Four Distinctive Finishes Exclusive to Guitar Center

The 333 Maple snare is offered in Grey Swirl, Midnight Swirl, Copper Marine and Gun Metal Swirl Finish Ply options, giving drummers a choice of visual styles without changing the underlying shell construction or hardware configuration. Additionally, a matching DW Collector's Series 333 Maple three-piece shell pack is available separately in the same four Finish Ply options. Each snare version features DW heads by Remo and the established appointments of the Collector's Series. Built in the USA, this Guitar Center Exclusive combines maple VLT construction, professional DW hardware and a selection of distinctive finishes. For drummers seeking a versatile maple snare with an exclusive appearance, the DW Collector's Series 333 Maple snare drum offers a compelling addition to the kit.
