I am thrilled with this purchase. The keyboard is simple yet high-quality for the purpose for which I purchased it. I played on a grand piano until I moved away for college and I haven't had consistent practice over the past 10 years and I wanted to get back into playing. This is a great keyboard for just that, the feel and weight of the keys are very close to a grand piano. The sound is not like that of a grand piano, obviously, but for keeping up my skills it is great. I wish it was more obvious in the description that it came with a book stand as well as a damper pedal, because I spent money on a separate damper pedal only to find that this keyboard came with one.

The product itself is fantastic. I bought it as a birthday gift for my father who recently downsized houses and could no longer fit his upright piano in the space. The action is good, this is one of the few full sized affordable digital pianos I could find with fully weighted keys which was great. Sounds could use some improvement for sure, but they work for this purpose.

Comments about Casio CDP-135 88-Key Digital Piano:

I grew up playing grand piano mainly for Church and the Falcetti music competitions in Boston. I haven't played in years and wanted to start practicing again. What surprised me the most about this keyboard was the realistic feel and responsiveness of the weighted keys. The sound is excellent and this unit has a lot of useful features. My only con is that it does not have built in recording/playback. I would compare this model to the Yamaha-P45 in terms of performance and features. Retails for about $50.00 less which makes it a great value.

Comments about Casio CDP-135 88-Key Digital Piano:

I bought this as my first piano/ digital piano. I made this choice after comparing other digital pianos with its price range. After a couple weeks of having this, I believe that I made the best choice for me because the piano sounds great, The keys are hammer- weighted and graded, The piano overall looks really clean/ smooth, and the USB MIDI is a good feature since I use computer software to help learn and even create some music.
I'm happy with this product and can recommend it. I especially love the "hall" feature on it.

Comments about Casio CDP-135 88-Key Digital Piano:

I love almost every thing about this keyboard. I got a great price. I don't think I would pay full price though. The only two negatives I would point out are:1) No recording function. 2) The keys are slightly noisy when pressed. But I've actually gotten used to that and I don't notice it anymore. If this keyboard holds up and is reliable over the next couple of years, I would recommend it to anyone; beginner or advanced. The action feels like a real piano (probably better than many pianos) and the sound is very good. If you just need a practice piano and you're serious about learning piano and you don't have (or don't want to)spend a $1000 of more and you don'r need to record your songs this is definitely the one to pick. I am so happy with it.

Comments about Casio CDP-135 88-Key Digital Piano:

No complaints on this one. It's my first keyboard purchase ever and as a longtime (actual) piano-player it serves my needs perfectly while being a great value. It comes with a sustainer pedal which wasn't evident to me in the specs so I had ordered one separately that I needed to return.

Great practice keyboard. Feels like a real piano. If it had a recording function it would be perfect. It's very plain and I'm not sure how long it will last but if you get a good discount on this it is well worth the price.

Been learning for the past month now, and so far it's been good to me. Had no problems with keys failing or power issues. Love the weighed keys! I feel it's very important to also have a feel for weighted keys when learning to play. I'm overall very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone that is wanting to learn. There aren't that many bells and whistles, but I think this keeps me in check with my learning and not wasting time messing around with unnecessary functions.

All the keys work and it's certainly light-weight but the grand piano sound is really tinny and awful.
                the electric piano is passable.
