Description
The BMG Electric Bass is a medium-scale instrument made in the same spirit as Brian May's iconic Red Special, with a compact double cutaway mahogany body and neck, topped with a smooth ebony fingerboard. Outstanding tone is supplied by two vintage styled, chrome-covered pickups. A fat Gibson-esque humbucker up front provides an earthy low-end counterpoint to the bright, cutting response of the Tri-Sonic style single coil in the bridge position. Onboard electronics feature a classic, no-frills passive circuit, providing individual volume and master treble roll-off control. Additional features include a high-mass roller bridge and state-of-the-art Hipshot Ultralite tuners.
