Audix

Description

As wireless productions continue to grow in scale, dependable multi-channel RF performance has become essential for delivering consistent audio across increasingly complex systems. The Audix Novacore NCR4 quad-channel digital wireless receiver was engineered to meet those demands, combining advanced digital wireless technology, efficient spectrum utilization and high-resolution audio performance in a compact 1U receiver built for high-channel-count environments. Supporting four wireless channels in a single chassis while providing low-latency operation, secure transmission and flexible networking, the NCR4 delivers the reliability and scalability required for professional live sound, broadcast, installed audio and secure communications.

Four-Channel Digital Wireless With Exceptional RF Efficiency

The NCR4 supports the simultaneous operation of up to 24 wireless systems per frequency band while delivering 24-bit/44.1kHz digital audio, greater than 110dBA dynamic range and latency below 3 ms. Digital diversity reception helps maintain reliable wireless performance in challenging RF environments, while onboard frequency scanning and one-touch infrared synchronization simplify setup with compatible Novacore handheld and bodypack transmitters. AES-256 encryption protects audio transmission, making the receiver well suited for corporate, government, broadcast and other applications where secure communication is essential.

Modern Connectivity Simplifies System Expansion

Balanced XLR outputs and integrated Dante/AES67 networking allow the NCR4 to integrate with traditional analog systems and networked audio infrastructures. A single Ethernet connection can route multiple channels of digital audio to compatible mixers and processors, reducing cable complexity while making larger wireless systems easier to deploy and expand. Dedicated front-panel headphone monitoring enables direct channel checks, while clear LCD metering provides immediate access to RF, audio, battery and transmitter status during setup and live operation.

Professional Construction for Demanding Audio Systems

Housed in a rugged 1U steel chassis, the NCR4 is designed for touring, permanent installations and complex high-channel-count productions. Dual RJ11 ports allow multiple receivers to be daisy-chained for control through Audix Frequency Coordination software without requiring a separate network switch, helping streamline setup and ongoing system management. Combining four channels of secure digital transmission, Dante/AES67 networking and centralized system control, the Audix Novacore NCR4 quad-channel digital wireless receiver provides a scalable platform for demanding live sound, installed audio and broadcast applications.
