Audix

Description

Hands-free wireless audio has to remain clear, secure and dependable while the people using it stay focused on the message rather than the technology. The Audix Novacore NC2BX10 dual-channel bodypack wireless system was created to provide a complete lavalier solution for clergy, presenters, performers and broadcast talent who need professional results from the moment the system is powered on. Pairing the NCR2 dual-channel receiver with two NCBP bodypack transmitters and two ADX10 cardioid lavalier microphones, it delivers discreet vocal capture, low-latency digital audio and AES-256 encrypted transmission in one integrated package. From houses of worship and theaters to corporate meetings, education and broadcast production, the NC2BX10 provides the clarity, flexibility and operational confidence required for demanding hands-free applications.

Complete Dual-Channel Lavalier System Simplifies Setup

The NC2BX10 includes everything needed to deploy two professional wireless lavalier channels in a single package. Each NCBP bodypack transmitter pairs quickly with the NCR2 receiver through one-touch infrared synchronization, while onboard frequency scanning helps locate clean operating channels across the system's 48MHz UHF tuning range. Digital diversity reception supports stable operation in challenging RF environments, and the Novacore platform can accommodate up to 24 simultaneous systems per band for larger productions. Detachable BNC antennas, belt clips, 20" USB-C charging cables and a universal power supply complete a package prepared for professional use.

ADX10 Lavalier Microphones Capture Natural Speech

Each included ADX10 miniature condenser microphone uses a cardioid pickup pattern to maintain clear vocal focus while reducing unwanted sound from nearby sources. Its smooth 50Hz–18kHz frequency response preserves articulation and tonal balance for spoken word, theatrical dialogue, broadcast work and amplified presentations without drawing attention to the microphone itself. Strong off-axis rejection improves feedback control in reverberant rooms and active stages, making the ADX10 especially effective for worship services, lectures and podium applications. A compact machined-brass housing, lightweight construction and comfortable 4"–8" working distance support discreet placement while maintaining dependable vocal clarity.

Secure Digital Audio Maintains Exceptional Clarity

The NCR2 receiver processes audio at 24-bit/44.1kHz resolution with greater than 110dB of dynamic range, preserving natural vocal detail across both channels. Latency remains below 3 ms, allowing speech and performance audio to stay closely aligned with the action onstage or on camera. AES-256 encryption protects each transmission against unauthorized interception, an important advantage for corporate, government and broadcast environments where privacy matters. Digital diversity reception and greater than 80dB of spurious rejection further support dependable operation when nearby wireless activity places additional pressure on the RF spectrum.

Flexible Bodypacks Adapt to Changing Applications

Variable input gain from -12dB to +18dB allows each NCBP transmitter to accommodate different microphone sensitivities, speaking levels and placement requirements. A dedicated 3.5 mm remote mute input supports external switching for installed systems, giving presenters and technical teams greater control over when each channel enters the mix. The bodypacks also work with compatible Audix lavalier and headset microphones, including the L5, L5O, HT5 and HT7 series, along with third-party TA3F-terminated models. More than nine hours of battery life is available from two AA batteries or an optional rechargeable NCLB lithium-ion pack, and built-in USB-C charging simplifies daily turnaround.

Networked Outputs Support Modern Production Systems

Balanced XLR outputs provide straightforward connection to traditional analog consoles, while integrated Dante/AES67 networking routes both digital channels through a standard Ethernet connection. This combination allows the NC2BX10 to serve established sound systems and newer networked infrastructures without requiring separate receiver platforms. Front-panel LCD displays show RF and audio levels, diversity status, transmitter battery condition, squelch and system addressing, while a dedicated headphone output supports direct channel monitoring. Dual RJ11 ports also let multiple receivers connect to Audix Frequency Coordination software through a daisy chain, reducing the need for additional network hardware.

Expandable Architecture Supports Long-Term System Growth

The rugged 1U steel receiver chassis is suited for touring racks, permanent installations and portable production systems where reliability must remain consistent from one event to the next. Additional Novacore receivers, transmitters and microphone options can be added as channel counts and application requirements expand while maintaining a consistent operating platform. Combining discreet ADX10 vocal capture, flexible bodypack operation and secure dual-channel digital wireless performance, the Audix Novacore NC2BX10 dual-channel bodypack wireless system provides a complete hands-free solution for demanding communication and production environments.
